In Salem, Oregon, a Trump backer was attacked by protestors. They sprayed paint on his vehicle and maliciously damaged it after pepper spraying an elderly veteran at a rally in the state’s capital. However, while wearing an American flag sweatshirt and brandishing a firearm, a Trump supporter confronted the protesters and shouted, “Get away from me!”

Police immediately seized the armed Trump supporter, throwing him to the ground face-first and handcuffing him behind his back. Because he threatened the lives of the anti-fascists, prosecutors could charge him with attempted murder if they deem there is enough evidence.

The Trump supporter was seen scrubbing his eyes with police after the event concluded. This made some people think that he had been sprayed with pepper spray from the Antifa protestors. People could see evidence of the man’s car broken taillight spread across Salem, Oregon highway.

The demonstrators were laughing as the cops took away the Trump supporter after arresting him for brandishing a gun at an unarmed crowd. A protester yelled, “F*** the Proud Boys,” suggesting that the guy in the American flag sweatshirt might be affiliated with the hate group.

The Trump supporter was not arrested by authorities, despite the fact that they have investigated the matter. However, this was just one of several heated fights between leftist and right-wing protesters at the Oregon State Capitol grounds.

The left-wing Antifa protestors were gathered near the Statehouse when a caravan of Trump supporters drove into the Oregon capital, according to The Statesman Journal.

Trump supporters arrived to what was advertised as a “Freedom” rally for United States military veterans, but it was really just an event to disseminate white supremacist ideology and false information.

Three people were reportedly arrested during the Salem protest, including 34-year-old Andrew Alan Foy, who faces charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass. Thirty-three-year-old Nathan McFarland was also arrested on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct. Eighteen-year-old Anthony Villaneda was charged with five counts of pointing a laser pointer.

The Trump protestors who showed up at the rally were “heavily armed,” according to police in Salem, Oregon. The authorities warned people to leave and pleaded for their safety due to “ongoing reports of criminal activity.” If the crowd of 150-200 people did not immediately disperse, police announced they would begin using “impact weapons, munitions and tear gas” on the Trump supporters and Antifa protestors via a loudspeaker.

“The risk of violence has increased as the opposing protestors are expected to arrive in large numbers,” Salem officials wrote on Twitter. “We have received reports that vehicles driving past the capitol are being struck with balloons filled with paint and green lasers being pointed at drivers. If (possible), avoid traveling (through) streets around the capitol mall. Anyone observing criminal behavior should immediately move to a safe location & call 911.”
