Tanya Roberts, one of the most iconic actresses in Hollywood, died peacefully at her home in Los Angeles after complications developed from her Hepatitis C condition. She noticed severe abdominal pain while hiking one day that turned out to be from a urinary infection that later turned into sepsis.

Roberts rose to fame after she was cast as the ‘sexy’ “Charlie’s Angel” Jill Munroe for two seasons on ABC’s hit TV series Charlie’s Angels.

She continued to act in films and TV shows throughout the years including The Man with Bogart’s Face, Brother John, Side by Side, Bobby Deerfield, Lindsay Anderson’s O Lucky Man!, Streetwalkin’, Mr. Patman and Murder by Decree. Her most recent accomplishments included a role as a flight attendant for the made-for-TV movie Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood and a co-starring credit on Sheena, which was released earlier this year.

She is survived by her son, Zachary Smith Reynolds, whom she had with first husband Al Corley.

When asked about what her most memorable project was, Roberts once said: “I think it’s the people I’ve worked with. I’m blessed to be able to say that I’ve made some real friends through this business.”

Roberts is gone but she will never be forgotten…

She will always be our “Charlie’s Angel” and we’ll never forget the wonderful memories she brought us.

R.I.P TANYA ROBERTS!

You are all over the internet…it may be a good idea to review her later works as well. Few people have graced so many genres of entertainment and been successful.

“Sheena, Queen of the Jungle”, a film about a woman who is discovered to have extraordinary strength and abilities during an expedition deep in Africa. And “Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood”, a horror / comedy movie that also stars legends such as Angie Everhart, Erika Eleniak and Dennis Miller.

We (my family) also love the short films that she has been in, such as “Street Walkin” and “Brother John”, both of which we watched over and over again because we were always fascinated by her ability to play such different characters within a single movie. She was very under-appreciated, but she always kept her head up.

We will miss you Tanya, and we will remember your name for years to come.

In the mid-80s she was one of the most popular TV actresses, and even tried her luck at singing. With a danceable pop song “Everything Changes” she entered Billboard’s Top 100, but never made it to the top 40. The lyrics may hold a message for us: “We all change when we fall in love, for better or worse, till death do us part.”

This time it was for the worse. And so we say goodbye to Tanya Roberts, who has received her last wish – to die at home. May she rest in peace…
