For years, Geena Davis has been living a reclusive life in her Hollywood home. However, on Sunday she emerged from her house for the first time in ages to go shopping in public. During her appearance, Davis donned a blue headscarf and was photographed walking around barefoot while wearing a provocative sweatshirt with the image of a kitten wearing a Santa Claus hat across the front.
Geena Davis has been a prominent film actress for more than four decades. She’s appeared in major motion pictures like Thelma & Louise, Beetlejuice, and A League Of Their Own. However, she has not been seen in public much recently, which has fueled rumors as to what she is up to. But her appearance on Sunday proved that she’s doing well and just likes spending time alone in her Los Angeles home.
On Sunday, Davis went for a walk in her baggy jeans and appeared to be very at ease. A scarf was wrapped around her head, but her Auburn hair tumbled down her back. While going about errands all over the city on Sunday, Davis did not appear to apply makeup outside of the house.
The last time we’ve seen Elizabeth was with her Thelma and Louise co-star Susan Sarandon in public. The pair went to a unique anniversary screening of the box office hit, as well as teamed up to raise money for charity.
The screening was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Thelma and Louise, which is now recognized as a classic film by cineastes. For the special drive-in charity screening in June, Davis joined her 75-year-old co-star for another trip down memory lane. As one would expect from Hollywood celebrities of their stature, Davis and Susan Sarandon looked gorgeous and elegant during the presentation.
The divorce between Geena Davis and her ex-husband, Dr. Reza Jarrahy, 50, has reportedly been finalized. He was her fourth spouse. The pair divorced in 2017 but were unable to finalize their split until this year. According to a news feature in the Daily Mail, their marriage lasted 16 years and produced three children. The twin boys Kaiis Steven Jarrahy and Kian William Jarrahy are 17-year-old teenagers, and Alizeh Keshvar Davis Jarrahy is 19-year-old daughter of Gena and Rodger, according to a Geena Davis profile published by the Daily Mail.
According to reports, Dr. Jarrahy, a plastic surgeon, attempted to split assets equally between himself and Davis. However, Davis wasn’t about to let the fruits of her excellent Hollywood career go up in smoke, so she set obstacles in place to prevent Jarrahy from getting all she had earned from her parts in several movies.
According to a source close to the situation, the two had wanted to get married. However, they were never legally married. During their contentious divorce, she urged him “to lawyer up” if he wanted to take her property from her, according to an insider source.
“They were very unfavorable to Reza, who agreed to settle just to put this behind him and be free of the nightmare Geena has caused for him,” the source said.
