Starting a family is an American ideal. Not everyone, however, may do so without difficulty. Susie and her spouse had tried for ten years to conceive in order to start their own family. They simply couldn’t get the job done until years later. Now, 50-year-old Susie and her 61-year-old spouse are eager to share the great news with the world: their “miracle baby” has been born despite mom being fifty years old.

Susie Troxler, on the other hand, was overjoyed to learn she was pregnant at fifty. For years, she had struggled to conceive and had gone through fertility treatments with her spouse. It wasn’t until her mother turned 50 that she received the outcome she desired — a tiny boy who would enter the world.

On September 29, 2021, a child named Lily Antonia Troxler was born. Her name is Lily Antonia Troxler and she was born on September 29, 2021. Mom and dad were ecstatic to welcome the youngster at the hospital that day. Susie and her spouse, Tony, were overcome with joy since they’d been trying to have a kid for over ten years and finally got the results they desired.

“When we got married, we just assumed we’d get pregnant, and then it didn’t happen,” Susie Troxler told Good Morning America. “But we’re both very old-school, and when we grew up, nobody even talked about or discussed IVF [in-vitro fertilization]. It wasn’t even a thing.”

Before they had their first kid, the Troxlers had been married for thirteen years.

Susie did not receive the health care she required until she was in her late forties. That’s when a caring OBGYN physician asked her if there was anything else troubling her. She opened up and said how she’d always wanted to have her own kid.

“Because she asked it, I mentioned that we hadn’t gotten pregnant, and she said, ‘OK, we can work on that.’”

Susie was referred to a fertility specialist and a reproductive endocrinologist after her doctor’s visit. Susie was found to have fibroids, tiny benign tumors that develop on the surface of her uterus. In 2019, she had surgery to have them removed.

The Troxlers tried in-vitro fertilization, but it failed for them. They attempted egg donation, but it also proved fruitless. Then the epidemic struck, and their plans were put on hold.

In February 2021, Susie had one more embryo inserted and carried to term. She was carrying a baby!

Susie’s original OBYGN, Dr. Carolyn Harraway-Smith, was thrilled with the outcome when she gave birth in September of the same year.

“It was a beautiful and exciting and peaceful moment,” Dr. Harraway-Smith said of the delivery. “Everyone in the room was excited, and she came out healthy and happy and was just a beautiful baby.”

Baby Lily has two devoted parents who will shower him with love for many years.

“I’m of the belief that kids come when they’re supposed to come, regardless of the age of the parents. We look at it as if this is exactly how it was meant to be. She’s our miracle baby,” stated the new mom.
