When Violet Burdick first appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, she had already established a name for herself on the internet. Violet was a talented singer who knew how to pique her audience’s attention at age five. Because of his dedication to music, Violet has received a lot of exposure as a result of her excellent vocal abilities, thanks to her dad Ryan Burdick, an active musician in his region.

Ellen’s producers had not known, but the aunt of Violet sent them the video of her singing. When Ryan got a call from the show, he was shocked to say the least. He shouldn’t have been too shocked that his daughter would become a viral sensation as a result of her voice since he has always nurtured her vocal talent.

Ryan was surprised to discover that the Ellen Show’s producers had booked Violet for an upcoming appearance. This meant that Ryan’s little girl would be performing her singing talents in front of the whole country.

“This whole thing was amazing, and it’s all Aunt Erin’s fault,” Ryan said to Violet.

The coronavirus was a potential concern, so before Ryan and his daughter could board a plane for Ellen’s set in Los Angeles, they had to ensure that they didn’t have it. The COVID-19 test was given to both father and daughter, who were then able to get on the plane and fly to Los Angeles. When they arrived, they were directed back toward a testing station. They had to take another COVID-19 test when en route to the studio in order to meet with Ellen and her team.

Violet and her father appeared on the talk show to discuss their love for Dolly Parton. They not only praised her music but also her community service work, particularly as it relates to creating Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. They also related to Parton because of her less-than-ideal background, applauding her efforts to provide funding for Moderna COVID-19 vaccine research through a million dollars at the start of the epidemic.

After the conversation, Ellen wanted to hear little Violet sing. So, what song does she pick? Violet began singing Parton’s famous song, “Joleen,” with her father strumming away on the guitar.

The video of Violet’s performance quickly spread online, and she enthralled the crowd. However, the celebration was not over yet. When the father-daughter team finished their act, Ellen provided them with one more special moment – a trip to Dollywood in Tennessee for all expenses paid.

Ryan has now decided to teach Violet to play a musical instrument so that she may sing along with herself. And maybe she’ll come back to Ellen’s show one day.

“That is one nice thing about that show. They follow up with the child performers and to see them later and how they progressed. That is fun,” Ryan stated.
