Three abandoned newborns have been discovered at an apartment complex in Orlando, Florida years apart. DNA analysis has confirmed that these infants are siblings after four years!

Because of the DNA match, the cops are hoping to find the parents of these abandoned newborns.

The most recent abandoned newborn was discovered at Willow Key apartments last July 2019 in a doorstep. The one-month-old was swaddled in a T-shirt and had a note attached to it. The mother of the boy, according to the letter, left him because she was afraid of the unknown father of the infant.

According to the documents of NBC4i, the mother’s letter states, “His dad tried to kill us. Please keep him secret and take him to a hospital.” The youngster was unharmed and rushed straight to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

This isn’t the first time a newborn has been abandoned at Willow Key Apartments.

In 2016, a newborn was abandoned on his own at an apartment complex. There aren’t many details about the first kid, but it was a boy. He was wrapped in a blanket and left on the back porch of an apartment building near Buena Vista Point Apartments.

On October 6, 2017, a second case was reported. A newborn girl was left with a note requesting that someone bring the infant to the fire station or a secure location. At that time, the girl was fully clothed and in excellent health. She eventually entered foster care as a result of this event.

It was not known at the time whether the first case was connected to the second. However, authorities revealed in a March 20 letter that all three children had been subjected to DNA testing after the third incident. And it was discovered that they had the same mother and father as one another.

The unnamed Orlando Police Detective who authored the letter to Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon stated that they want to get money to help find the parents of these children. According to the letter, similar matches were discovered through DNA testing that they requested, allowing investigators to proceed with their leads in order to locate the parents.

The detective wrote, “Based on the egregious and neglectful behavior of the parent(s), and the bizarre facts of this case, unlike any other documented case, it is imperative to conduct a well-being check of all involved parties.”

Yes, the funding has already been authorized.

It is uncertain what will occur to these new siblings. It may be too late for them, however, the Safe Haven laws are critical for each parent to understand.

The stories of these youngsters are evidence that Florida is a Safe Haven State, as defined by state statute. According to the state’s Child Welfare Statutes, newborns who are 7 days old or younger can be surrendered at a hospital, fire station, or an EMT station without question. There will also be no legal ramifications for the parents.

The parents’ legal rights will be forfeited, and the relinquished children will be given to a child-placing agency.
