Some people hunt large game because shooting deer and elk no longer provides them with “high.” If they want to feel the same way they did when they shot their first creature, they’ll need bigger and rarer animals to shoot and kill. An American woman on a South African safari killed an extremely uncommon and endangered black giraffe because a photograph of it would look “cool” on her social media site.

Tessa Thompson Talley, also known as TTT, is an American trophy hunter who kills first and questions later. She hunts animals that are sensitive and controversial, but she shoots to kill and subsequently shares her photographs with the public online.

TTT recently joined a group of individuals to shoot and kill as many big game animals as possible during her recent trip to South Africa. During the journey, she shot numerous creatures and posed with several of the animals she killed. Despite the fact that some people were upset by various things, one image, in particular, sparked a lot of controversy. The picture of TTT posing next to a black giraffe was widely condemned.

Comments included:

“Tess Thompson Talley… may Karma be swift and merciless to you.”

TTT was holding the limp neck of a huge land animal in the image. The animal was extremely rare, having been over eight years old.

TTT added to the picture: “Prayers for my once in a lifetime Dream hunt came true today! Spotted this rare black giraffe bull and stalked him for quite a while. I knew it was the one. He was over 18 years old, 4,000 lbs and was blessed to be able to get 2,000 lbs of meat from him.”

When African Digest saw TTT’s photos, they shared them on Twitter with the comment: “White American savage who is partly a Neanderthal comes to Africa and shoots down a very rare black giraffe courtesy of South Africa stupidity.”

TTT’s photos were featured on African Digest’s website, where they were picked up and shared to their animal rights followers on Twitter with the comment “White American savage who is partly a Neanderthal comes to Africa and shoot down a very rare black giraffe courtesy of South Africa stupidity.”

“Tess Thompson Talley. May you suffer guilt, torment, and loneliness from your mental illness. Shame on you.” one Twitter user responded to Africa Digest’s post.

The media source stated: “Her name is Tess Thompson Talley. Please share. If our so-called governments can’t care for our wildlife, then it’s time we stand up and responsibility of our continent, lands, resources, and wildlife… Let’s have a united voice against pillage of Africa. It’s the only home we have.”

TTTT, a hunter from Texas, shot a unique species that is on the verge of extinction. People began pressing her about the kill once she was confronted with it. To avoid the controversy, TTT made her account private, preventing others from leaving comments on her photographs.

Every kill by trophy hunters in South Africa results in the loss of a stunning animal.

After an American dentist killed Cecil, the lion, several other African nations have prohibited trophy hunting. Meanwhile, Australia and France have imposed bans on importing lions’ trophies.
