Crockett, who has quickly become a favorite of the progressive fringe, appeared on WFAA’s *Inside Texas Politics* on June 1 and launched into an unhinged tirade that left many Americans shaking their heads. Her goal? Sabotage Trump’s presidency, smear his allies, and re-install radical Democrats in power—all under the guise of “oversight.”
“If given the opportunity, I would absolutely pursue impeachment,” Crockett told the host, before fantasizing about leading the powerful House Oversight Committee, the same committee currently exposing corruption, waste, and the shady dealings of the Biden family and their cronies.
This isn’t oversight. It’s a political vendetta.
Crockett’s rant was filled with the usual Democrat buzzwords and baseless accusations, calling the recently passed “Big, Beautiful Bill”—a hallmark of the new Trump administration’s push for streamlined spending and economic discipline—“B.S.” and “a cruel bill.” Naturally, she provided no real argument, just emotional talking points aimed at scaring seniors and low-information voters.
She then shifted her attention to Elon Musk, who is currently spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and claimed without evidence that his leadership would somehow harm Social Security. “DOGE is going around doing all sorts of things, many of which we still don’t even know the full extent of,” Crockett huffed—apparently disturbed by the idea of government actually becoming more efficient.
And let’s not forget her laughable attempt to paint Trump as corrupt, based on vague accusations about “crypto nonsense” and a \$400 million jet allegedly tied to Qatar. In true Democrat fashion, Crockett invoked the Emoluments Clause—one of their favorite buzzwords during Trump’s first term, which never went anywhere because there was no crime.
The hypocrisy here is blinding. While Crockett whines about Trump’s plane and cryptocurrency, she conveniently ignores Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals, Joe Biden’s suspicious bank records, and the millions funneled through shell companies connected to the Biden family. That’s not oversight—that’s selective outrage.
Crockett even complained that Republicans dared to investigate Hunter Biden and claimed it was unfair to criticize Joe Biden just because his son was “having issues.” Never mind that those “issues” involve alleged influence-peddling, tax evasion, and lying on federal gun forms.
This latest meltdown by Crockett is a preview of what Democrats plan to do if they ever return to power: weaponize Congress, impeach Trump out of spite, and reverse all the progress being made to secure the border, fix the economy, and clean up Washington corruption.
Conservatives need to take her threat seriously. The Left isn’t done trying to destroy Trump—they’re just regrouping. If we want to preserve American sovereignty and keep this country on the right track, we need to make sure radicals like Jasmine Crockett never hold the gavel.
