CNN’s **Van Jones** had another on-air meltdown during the network’s election night coverage on November 4, spinning a night of predictable Democrat wins in deep-blue states into what he laughably called “buyer’s remorse” for President Trump. The only problem? The facts don’t back him up — not even close.

The elections Jones was referring to took place in **New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City** — all reliably blue strongholds. In New Jersey, the Republican challenger came close but narrowly lost. In Virginia, Democrats clung to power after what many conservatives admitted was a weak Republican ticket led by Winsome Sears. And in New York, the far-left socialist **Zohran Mamdani** — yes, the same one Trump blasted as a “communist” — managed to win in New York City.

In other words, **nothing surprising happened**. Republicans lost in places they were always underdogs, and while better candidates might have made the margins tighter, it was hardly a national referendum on President Trump.

Still, Van Jones couldn’t resist turning it into another unhinged anti-Trump rant. Grinning smugly, he told viewers, “I’m happy. You know why? Buyer’s remorse from Independents. Independents gave Donald Trump a shot — buyer’s remorse. The Latin community gave him a shot — buyer’s remorse. Black men gave Trump a shot — they have come back home, buyer’s remorse.”

Jones went on to accuse Trump of representing the “status quo,” saying, “People are sick of the status quo. That’s why they voted for Trump the first time. That’s why they voted him out the second time. That’s why they voted him back in.” His rambling continued into bizarre territory when he claimed Trump was “putting in gold toilets in the White House” and “gallivanting around the world.”

It was classic CNN theater — emotion, hyperbole, and zero substance.

The reality is that **Van Jones and his network are desperate** to find any sign of weakness in the Trump administration after a month of strong polling and steady progress on the economy, border enforcement, and global stability. They can’t talk about inflation easing, falling energy prices, or the end of Biden-era chaos, so they invent a “buyer’s remorse” narrative out of blue-state elections.

While Jones was ranting, **Vice President JD Vance** took a far more rational view of the results, posting on X that the GOP should stay focused and not “overreact to a couple of elections in blue states.”

“I think it’s idiotic to overreact,” Vance wrote. “Our coalition is made up of lower-propensity voters, and that means we have to do better at turnout.”

Vance also emphasized that President Trump’s focus on **domestic policy** — lowering interest rates, reducing inflation, and rebuilding American prosperity — is paying off. “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” he said. “We’re going to keep working to make a decent life affordable again in this country.”

And in a pointed message to Republicans, Vance called for unity: “The infighting is stupid. If you care about immigration, sovereignty, and building peace abroad so we can focus on our people here at home — then let’s work together.”

Meanwhile, Van Jones and CNN continue to do what they do best — twist facts, attack Trump, and pretend that Democrat wins in blue cities are signs of some national shift. But the truth is simpler: the Left is terrified that Trump’s America First message is winning again — and their media mouthpieces are losing control of the narrative.
