Vice President JD Vance, a strong advocate for prioritizing American interests over endless foreign entanglements, was met with hostility and harassment while vacationing with his family in Vermont. The reason? He dared to challenge Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and demand accountability for the billions of taxpayer dollars funneled into a war that has no clear end in sight.

The scene outside the Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Vermont, was anything but civil. Hundreds of unhinged protesters, waving Ukrainian flags and carrying signs filled with leftist slogans, lined the road for nearly half a mile to berate the Vice President and his family. Among the most deranged messages? Calling Vance “Nazi scum,” branding him a “traitor” for standing against Zelensky’s unchecked demands, and sneeringly telling him to “go ski in Russia.” Others held signs spewing the typical anti-Trump hysteria, with phrases like “Trump serves Putin” and “Theocracy is not freedom.”

This outrage stems from Vance’s direct and unapologetic approach during a heated meeting at the White House between President Trump, Zelensky, and himself. Unlike past weak-kneed American politicians who blindly handed over blank checks to Ukraine, Vance held Zelensky accountable, calling out the forced conscription of young Ukrainians and demanding a pathway to peace instead of endless war.

“Mr. President, with respect, I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media,” Vance told Zelensky during the meeting. “Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict.”

The meeting ultimately collapsed when Zelensky arrogantly dismissed a mineral rights deal brokered by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. After an increasingly combative exchange, Trump had seen enough and removed Zelensky from the White House, later explaining his reasoning on Truth Social.

“We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure,” Trump posted.

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”

This unwillingness to be manipulated by foreign leaders enraged the usual crowd of leftists, globalists, and warmongers who see America as nothing more than an ATM for international conflicts. That anger boiled over into open harassment as Vance and his family attempted to enjoy a peaceful winter getaway.

Fox News Digital reported that the Vances initially planned to stay at a well-known four-star hotel near the ski resort but relocated to an undisclosed location due to security concerns—something no public official should have to deal with simply for standing up for American taxpayers.

However, not everyone in Vermont bought into the hysteria. Some locals and skiers rightfully mocked the protestors for their childish antics. One blunt-speaking skier told Fox News Digital, “Those people protesting Vance are f—ing morons.”

Despite the harassment, Vice President Vance remains steadfast in his commitment to putting America first. Speaking about the Trump administration’s strategy for peace, he reinforced that true leadership means pursuing diplomacy over destruction.

“When President Trump talks about the need to bring peace, whether it’s in Russia and Ukraine or in the Middle East, we have to recognize that as a policy oriented toward saving lives and carrying out one of Christ’s most important Commandments,” Vance stated.

This entire debacle proves once again that today’s radical left has no interest in peace, diplomacy, or even basic civility. They want endless war, unchecked spending, and total submission to the globalist agenda. And if you dare challenge them, they’ll stop at nothing—even harassing a sitting Vice President’s family on vacation.

But here’s the truth: The American people are tired of footing the bill for a war with no end in sight. They’re tired of being told to sacrifice while corrupt foreign leaders demand more. And most of all, they’re tired of the left’s tantrums whenever a leader like JD Vance or Donald Trump refuses to bow to their failed agenda.

The protesters may have made noise in Vermont, but come November, it’s the American people who will make their voices heard loud and clear.
