Joy Behar is at it again. The longtime co-host of The View — and one of the loudest voices in Hollywood’s anti-Trump cult—spent Tuesday morning ranting about President Donald Trump, insisting she wants him impeached yet again and thrown in jail “soon.” If Trump Derangement Syndrome needed a mascot, she’d be the frontrunner.

Behar, whose political commentary rarely rises above emotional outbursts, opened by claiming she senses “desperation” from Republicans. Her co-host Sunny Hostin, who’s hardly a conservative sympathizer herself, could only respond with a puzzled “Oh,” as if even she didn’t understand what planet Behar was broadcasting from.

Behar then stretched even further, taking a swing at Trump’s voter support: “I feel like Trump’s numbers, his popularity, disappeared faster than the East Wing.” Of course, this claim collapses under even a moment’s scrutiny—Trump’s support remains rock-solid, even after years of media smear campaigns, weaponized prosecutions, and Democrat-led witch hunts disguised as impeachments.

But Behar wasn’t finished. She pivoted to Trump’s recent 60 Minutes appearance, claiming—without evidence—that Trump only appeared because he’s “not in good shape” politically. “We have hope he will be out soon,” she cheered, as though she personally gets to decide who occupies the White House.

Enter Alyssa Farah Griffin, the show’s token “Republican” with an unwavering desire to please the liberal audience. She gently reminded Behar that the next presidential election isn’t until 2028. Logic rarely slows Joy Behar down, though.

Doubling down on the delusion, Behar declared, “I think he should be in jail… If they would be doing their job they would be indicting him or at least impeaching him. He’s been crossing boundaries all over the place.” Of course, she never quite identifies which “boundaries” Trump crossed—but that’s the beauty of TDS: facts are optional, hysteria is mandatory.

This isn’t Behar’s first impeachment fantasy. She was cheering from the sidelines during both failed Democrat-led impeachment attempts in Trump’s previous term. She even defended squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib in 2019 when Tlaib infamously shouted “impeach the motherf***er!”—an outburst that embarrassed even some Democrats. Behar proudly said she “identified with her.”

That tells you everything you need to know.

The truth is this: Trump’s two impeachments were political theater, not legitimate constitutional processes. They destroyed the last remaining shred of credibility the establishment GOP had, exposed frauds like Liz Cheney, and ultimately strengthened the MAGA movement. The American people saw through it—and that’s why Trump remains the most influential political figure in the country.

But Joy Behar doesn’t live in that reality. She lives in a Manhattan bubble where every problem in America can be traced to Donald Trump and his supporters, and where saying “he should be in jail” passes as meaningful political analysis.

The more liberals like Behar obsess over Trump, the more obvious it becomes: they fear him. They fear his momentum. And they fear the voters who are tired of their tantrums.

Trump isn’t going anywhere—but Joy Behar’s sanity might be.
