Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to exposing the political gamesmanship and outright deception of Washington’s ruling class. Appearing on *The Ingraham Angle* with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Gabbard called out the Obama-era intelligence machine and its media allies for pushing the now-discredited 2016 “Russia Collusion” narrative — despite evidence that there was little to no real interference in the election.
The interview came shortly after Gabbard’s office released a trove of files detailing the run-up to the Russia investigation. Those documents reveal that Obama Administration officials greenlit the intelligence probe into then-candidate Donald Trump’s campaign even though early assessments found virtually no credible evidence of significant Russian involvement. In other words, the political elite pushed ahead with a story they knew didn’t hold water.
Ingraham opened by pointing out a classic Beltway tactic: when the facts don’t favor the establishment, they go after the messenger instead. “When they’re losing on the facts — they demonize the messenger,” Ingraham said. She then cited Virginia Democrat Senator Mark Warner’s attack on Gabbard, noting his social media post claiming, “Tulsi Gabbard is a threat to our national security and should be fired.”
Gabbard’s response? Warner’s smear is par for the course for a political class more interested in protecting itself than telling Americans the truth. “He has and continues to be a reliable soldier,” Gabbard said, likening Warner’s rhetoric to the well-worn playbook used by Washington’s “warmongers” whenever their authority is challenged.
“This does not serve the best interests of the American people,” Gabbard continued, arguing that such coordinated attacks only serve to protect entrenched power. She said the controversy has flushed out the “regime apparatchiks” for all to see, making it clearer than ever who is working to maintain the Deep State’s grip on the levers of government.
The Hawaii veteran-turned-intelligence chief stressed that the American people need to understand what’s really at stake. “It does not make us more safe, secure and free. So why are you doing this?” she asked rhetorically, calling out those in government who prioritize partisan control over national well-being.
Gabbard also had sharp words for the mainstream media, which she said has become nothing more than the propaganda arm of the establishment. “We’re seeing this revealed in real time,” she warned. “It’s important for the American people to pay attention and realize — with the mainstream propaganda media, we have to use our common sense and recognize we should accept nothing they say at face value.”
For years, the Russia Hoax was sold as unquestionable truth by cable news panels, political commentators, and government officials. Now, with hard evidence showing that it was built on a shaky — if not fabricated — foundation, the people who pushed it are scrambling to discredit those exposing the facts.
Gabbard’s message to Americans is clear: The same insiders who lied to you before are lying to you now. And unless they’re held accountable, they’ll do it again.
