The walls are finally closing in on the architects of the Russia Hoax. Late Friday night, November 7, the Justice Department issued grand jury subpoenas to several of the most notorious figures in the Trump-Russia conspiracy — including former CIA Director John Brennan and disgraced ex-FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The move marks a major escalation in the long-awaited investigation into how the intelligence community weaponized its power to try to take down Donald Trump.

The investigation, being led by U.S. Attorney Jason Reding Quinones out of the Southern District of Florida, represents the clearest sign yet that President Trump’s Justice Department is following through on his promise to hold the Deep State accountable.

According to Fox News’ Brett Baier, the subpoenas are part of a widening federal probe into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation — the same baseless smear campaign that consumed the country for years, cost taxpayers tens of millions, and turned out to be built on politically motivated lies. “Sources say the trio were served with federal subpoenas today,” Baier reported. “Law enforcement sources also say up to 30 subpoenas will be issued in the coming days.”

The news comes just weeks after Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) formally referred Brennan to the Department of Justice, accusing him of lying under oath to Congress during his 2023 testimony before the House Judiciary Committee. Jordan’s letter alleged that Brennan “willfully and intentionally made false statements” about the CIA’s use of the infamous Steele dossier — the discredited piece of opposition research financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign — in crafting the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on so-called “Russian interference.”

Brennan testified that the CIA had opposed including the Steele dossier in the report. But evidence later surfaced suggesting the agency relied heavily on the dossier — a fraudulent document that falsely accused Trump of conspiring with Russia. Jordan’s referral claimed Brennan’s denials were knowingly false and designed to protect the narrative that justified years of spying, leaks, and political persecution against Trump and his allies.

Now, with the grand jury subpoenas officially issued, the panic within the Deep State is palpable. “Panic is ensuing after a grand jury subpoenas JOHN BRENNAN and dirty FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page,” wrote journalist Eric Daugherty on X. “They are in HUGE trouble! Up to 30 subpoenas being issued in the coming days.”

The investigation’s scope reportedly includes new areas of interest, such as how the intelligence assessment on Russian interference was assembled — and whether Brennan and others manipulated the process to fit a predetermined political outcome.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t Brennan’s first brush with scrutiny. Former Attorney General Bill Barr launched an investigation into the same allegations back in 2020 but concluded without charges. Critics have long suspected Barr, under heavy pressure from the Washington establishment, pulled his punches to avoid political backlash. This new probe appears to be far more aggressive — and less concerned with Washington’s comfort.

Adding to the intrigue, conservative legal strategist Mike Davis told reporters that a Florida-based grand jury will now weigh evidence about whether top Obama- and Biden-era officials conspired to violate Donald Trump’s civil rights by orchestrating the Russia Hoax and subsequent prosecutions led by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Smith himself is now under intense scrutiny. He brought two cases against Trump — both collapsed when Trump returned to the White House — and failed to produce a shred of evidence proving wrongdoing. For years, Trump has said the FBI and DOJ were infiltrated by partisan actors who “worked hand-in-glove with Democrats to frame me,” and the latest developments seem to validate that claim.

Brennan, who now spends his days pontificating as a commentator on MSNBC, has repeatedly denied any misconduct, dismissing accusations as “political theater.” Yet it’s becoming harder for him and his allies in the media to maintain that narrative as the evidence piles up.

The renewed DOJ investigation has the potential to blow the lid off one of the biggest political scandals in modern history — a government-led conspiracy to undermine a sitting president. And it signals that the Trump administration’s vow to “drain the swamp” wasn’t just campaign rhetoric. It’s happening.

As President Trump declared in his 2024 campaign: “Those who weaponized our justice system against conservatives will finally face justice themselves.”

Now, with Brennan, Strzok, and Page under subpoena — and more to come — it appears that day of reckoning has finally begun.
