President Trump’s White House social media team delivered a masterclass in political trolling this week — and the target was none other than Rep. Ilhan Omar, the far-left congresswoman whose sympathies always seem to align more with Mogadishu than Minneapolis.

After Omar smugly declared in a recent interview that she has “no worry” about ever being deported — despite widespread allegations that she committed immigration fraud — the Trump White House responded in the most Trumpian way possible: by posting a photo of the president cheerfully waving goodbye from a McDonald’s drive-thru window, wearing an apron and signature red tie.

The message was unmistakable: “Don’t worry, Ilhan — we’ll show you the exit.”

Omar, of course, has long been a lightning rod for conservatives. From her infamous dismissal of 9/11 (“some people did something”) to her endless habit of defending Somalia as “our home, our heart,” she has repeatedly reminded Americans that her loyalties lie somewhere far from the Constitution she swore to uphold. Those positions, combined with credible questions about whether she violated immigration law to obtain citizenship, have led many to argue that she should be denaturalized and removed from the country.

This latest confrontation began when President Trump, reacting to Omar’s comments at a Somali community event, posted a blunt message on Truth Social: *“She should go back!”* Omar’s speech at the event — where she described Somalia as “our home” — raised eyebrows even among moderates. For many conservatives, it confirmed exactly what they’ve believed for years: Omar represents Somalia’s interests in Congress far more than America’s.

Pressed about deportation talk during a podcast appearance, Omar arrogantly brushed it off. “I don’t even know why that is such a scary threat,” she said. “I can go live wherever I want.” The Trump White House wasted no time responding — with the now-viral McDonald’s goodbye photo.

Conservatives erupted in laughter. The left erupted in outrage. In other words, the Trump team hit the perfect note.

But Trump isn’t the only one calling out Omar’s behavior. Rep. Nancy Mace recently blasted Omar in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, arguing that Omar’s history of inflammatory rhetoric has consequences. “If you celebrate murder, maybe Somalia can take you back,” Mace posted while announcing a resolution to censure Omar and strip her committee assignments.

Omar, as usual, tried to deflect with condescension, responding, “I hope someone can explain to you that there isn’t a correlation between my committee assignments and deportation.” Mace shot back with a mic-drop reply: “We would love to see you deported back to Somalia next.”

For years, Omar has relied on identity politics to shield her from accountability — crying “Islamophobia” whenever legitimate questions are raised about her conduct, her rhetoric, or her background. But with Trump back in the Oval Office and conservatives no longer willing to tiptoe around the obvious, that strategy appears to be running on fumes.

If Omar truly believes she can “go live wherever [she wants],” she may soon get the chance. And judging by the Trump White House’s McDonald’s-window sendoff, it looks like they’re more than ready to hold the door open.
