In yet another chilling example of the growing hostility toward conservatives in liberal strongholds, a proud Trump supporter in Seattle was the victim of what appears to be a politically motivated shooting. The woman’s home was targeted by gunfire earlier this week—directly aimed at a window covered in pro-Trump and pro-police materials, including a “Police Lives Matter” sticker.

The frightening incident took place in the early hours of July 7, when multiple shots were fired at the woman’s home. Her vehicle, parked outside, was also vandalized—its windows smashed and its windshield cracked. The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, told reporters this was not the first time her home had been shot at. In fact, it was the **second** such incident in just two years.

Still, Seattle police remain silent.

Local outlet Fox 13 captured images showing bullet holes piercing a window displaying conservative political messages, including a portrait of President Donald Trump. The vandalism to her truck—likely her only form of transportation—only added to the severity of the attack. Yet authorities haven’t issued so much as a public statement.

It’s no mystery why conservatives in cities like Seattle are growing increasingly concerned for their safety. When targeted violence like this is met with a shrug from Democrat-led local governments, it sends a clear message: some victims don’t fit the preferred political narrative.

Neighbors are rattled. Mason Rapisarda, whose 77-year-old grandmother lives next door to the victim, told Fox 13, “I think it’s unnecessary to bring that kind of violence. Being how close the houses are together, it definitely concerns me.” He added that the ordeal left his grandmother unable to sleep. “She told me she couldn’t sleep the whole night… it obviously freaked her out.”

Incredibly, this is the second time this woman’s home has been shot at. On New Year’s Eve 2023, a bullet entered her kitchen and lodged in a cabinet. In this latest attack, the closed shutters appear to have stopped the bullets from penetrating deeper into the home—a small blessing in an otherwise terrifying situation.

The timing of the attack is also notable. It comes just months after newly appointed FBI Director Dan Bongino announced an investigation into reports of *targeted violence against conservatives* in Seattle. That probe was launched following a disturbing incident in which far-left extremists violently disrupted a peaceful Christian concert in a city park. While the FBI is taking these threats seriously, Seattle officials are singing a very different tune.

Mayor Bruce Harrell didn’t condemn the violence at the Christian event. Instead, he labeled the gathering a “far-right rally,” effectively justifying the attack. His refusal to denounce political violence speaks volumes about where Seattle’s leadership stands.

The real question is: how much longer will conservative Americans be targeted—and ignored—for their beliefs in Democrat-run cities?

When windows displaying the American flag, a picture of a former president, or a pro-police sticker become bullseyes for political rage, the problem is far bigger than one house in Seattle. It’s a nationwide issue—and it’s time to call it what it is: political persecution in plain sight.
