President Trump has officially weighed in on the internal rift between two MAGA heavyweights — FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino and Attorney General Pam Bondi — following public tensions over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. After days of speculation and swirling rumors about Bongino’s employment status, the president offered a reassuring message: “Dan Bongino is a very good guy.”

The controversy erupted after Bongino reportedly took a sudden day off from his role at the FBI and expressed frustration with AG Bondi over a memo that concluded there was “no incriminating client list” and “no credible evidence” that Epstein blackmailed powerful figures. The memo, released by the FBI just days earlier, sparked outrage across the conservative movement — with many Americans still demanding answers about what elites were involved with Epstein.

Amid rising tensions, White House insiders began speculating that Bongino — a former Secret Service agent, fierce Trump loyalist, and no-nonsense patriot — had threatened to walk unless Bondi was removed. Conservative voters were left divided, wondering whether to back Bongino’s demand for transparency or Bondi’s position at the top of DOJ.

Speaking to reporters on July 13, President Trump addressed the speculation head-on, clarifying, “Oh, I think so. I did, I spoke to him today… Dan Bongino \[is] a very good guy, I’ve known him a long time… and he sounded terrific, actually.” A source later confirmed to *NewsNation* that Bongino had returned to work that same Monday but noted the situation remained “fluid.”

President Trump didn’t stop there. In a lengthy Truth Social post, he offered a full-throated defense of Bondi, who has faced growing criticism from grassroots activists over the Epstein investigation’s outcome. “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’” he wrote. “They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”

Trump then reminded the public that the real threats facing America are not Epstein’s old files, but the ongoing rot of political corruption and election rigging:

“The FBI must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020, and arresting Thugs and Criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein.”

“LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT!” Trump concluded.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche also attempted to tamp down speculation, posting on X that Bongino had fully signed off on the Epstein memo alongside FBI Director Kash Patel. “All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo,” Blanche said, dismissing rumors of internal conflict.

But that hasn’t satisfied everyone. Conservative firebrand Mike Cernovich pushed back online, calling for real transparency: “Please unseal the search warrants. Only DOJ can do this, and it can be done this afternoon.”

As MAGA voters watch closely, one thing is clear: The Epstein file fight isn’t just about old scandals — it’s about whether the Justice Department is finally putting America First or still protecting the powerful. Trump has made his position known. Now the base is watching to see what comes next.
