President Donald J. Trump is once again unafraid to speak the truth the D.C. swamp doesn’t want to hear. In a fiery series of Truth Social posts, Trump tore into what he’s calling a coordinated cover-up in the federal government—accusing Biden-appointed bureaucrats of manipulating the nation’s jobs data to favor Democrats and smear his America First economic agenda.
At the center of Trump’s outrage is Dr. Erika McEntarfer, Biden’s hand-picked Commissioner of Labor Statistics. According to the 45th president, McEntarfer oversaw a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) that *wildly overstated* job growth in the months leading up to the 2024 election. Trump claims those phony numbers were meant to boost the now-failed campaign of Kamala Harris and paint a rosy picture of a Democrat-led economy in decline.
“I was just informed that our Country’s ‘Jobs Numbers’ are being produced by a Biden Appointee… who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory,” Trump declared. “This is the same Bureau… that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000, and then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000.”
Let that sink in—nearly a million jobs overstated, just in time to influence an election. It’s the kind of statistical sleight of hand you’d expect from a third-world dictatorship, not the supposedly nonpartisan BLS.
Trump, never one to back down, has called for immediate accountability, directing his team to fire McEntarfer and replace her with someone “much more competent and qualified.”
“These were Records — No one can be that wrong,” he added. “We need accurate Jobs Numbers… they can’t be manipulated for political purposes.”
And he didn’t stop there.
Trump slammed the Federal Reserve as well, accusing Chair Jerome “Too Late” Powell of playing interest-rate games in a last-ditch effort to help Kamala Harris in 2024.
“The Economy is BOOMING under ‘TRUMP’ despite a Fed that also plays games… they lowered \[rates] twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election. I assume in the hopes of getting ‘Kamala’ elected — How did that work out?”
In classic Trump fashion, he had a message for Powell too: “Jerome ‘Too Late’ Powell should also be put out to pasture.”
The president then reminded Americans how this isn’t the first time the numbers mysteriously shifted after a critical moment. He pointed out that just after the 2024 election, those “great” jobs reports were suddenly revised down — by 818,000 jobs — once the votes were safely counted.
“In my opinion, today’s Jobs Numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad… A TOTAL SCAM.”
This is more than a political gripe. It’s a warning. The deep state and Democrat-aligned bureaucrats are, once again, playing fast and loose with the facts, using government institutions to push partisan agendas.
President Trump is making one thing clear: he’s watching, and he’s ready to clean house. As 2026 midterms loom and 2028 approaches, the American people deserve transparency—not rigged reports and political theater.
