The Democratic Party is at it again—clinging to the same tired excuses after suffering a humiliating defeat in the 2024 election. During an MSNBC-hosted forum for Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair candidates, all eight hopefuls shamelessly blamed Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss on—you guessed it—racism and misogyny.
Instead of reflecting on their party’s failures, policy missteps, or the fact that Americans overwhelmingly rejected their radical agenda, these Democrats resorted to the same identity politics playbook that has been losing them elections for years.
The forum, which took place at Georgetown University on January 30, featured eight candidates vying to lead the Democratic Party. Among them were former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson and ex-Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O’Malley.
At one point, MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart teed up the question that allowed them to play the victim card.
“So, I’m going to have a show of hands. How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris’ defeat?” Capehart asked.
And just like that, every single candidate obediently raised their hands, along with many in the audience.
“That’s good. You all passed,” Capehart smugly remarked, as if blind loyalty to the left’s narrative was the only acceptable answer.
What the Democrats conveniently ignored is the fact that President Trump’s approval ratings are soaring, sitting comfortably in the high 50s. Why? Because Americans actually *like* results. Trump’s decisive action on securing the border, deporting illegal immigrants, and revitalizing American trade has resonated with voters across racial and socioeconomic lines.
Instead of taking a hard look in the mirror, Democrats are stuck in a fantasy world where “racism” and “misogyny” are the only explanations for their losses.
Unsurprisingly, the internet had a field day with the DNC’s latest circus act. Conservative voices on X (formerly Twitter) wasted no time in shredding their excuses.
Senator Tommy Tuberville summed it up perfectly: “I’m already looking forward to expanding our majority in 2026.”
Conservative commentator Nate Hochman pointed out the obvious: “Nobody cares anymore. These magical hate words—racist, sexist, etc.—have lost all their power. People just roll their eyes now.”
Other responses were equally brutal:
– “The Democrats will lose again with this nonsense. They have learned nothing.”
– “Democrats are morons. All they have is this tiresome nonsense about bigotry.”
– “It’s ok, keep it up Democrats! Make sure to prop Kamala up again in 2028.”
One user even joked, “While they keep running in circles, @realDonaldTrump is winning!”
At this point, it’s clear that Democrats are doubling down on the same losing strategy that has cost them elections time and time again. Instead of addressing real issues—like skyrocketing crime, the invasion at the southern border, or economic struggles—they choose to play the race and gender card.
If this is their plan for 2028, Republicans should sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch the meltdown continue. Meanwhile, Trump will keep doing what he does best—winning.
