Despite her fame and fortune, Tina Turner has had to endure heartbreaking losses – something no mother should ever have to go through. In spite of this, she remains an immensely talented singer who continues to inspire many with her music.

Devastating news arrived on Thursday night, December 8th when law enforcement officials responded to a 911 call from a home in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. According to those present, Ronnie Turner – son of Turner – was having difficulty inhaling and shortly after he stopped breathing completely. At 62 years old, Ronnie has tragically passed away.

Desperately, bystanders tried to resuscitate Ronnie with CPR but it failed. When the paramedics sadly arrived at the house, they declared him deceased.

Although no official cause of death has been released, Ronnie had a history of various health issues and was previously diagnosed with cancer.

Tina took to Instagram and paid tribute to Ronnie with a photo of herself with her eyes closed. Attached was the caption: “Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.”

Tragically, Ronnie is not the first child to be taken from Tina. Her son Craig Raymond Turner took his own life back in 2018 at his home in Studio City, California. He ended it all with a single gunshot wound.

Tina posted an emotional Instagram farewell to Craig, bidding him a tearful goodbye, “My saddest moment as a mother.” With a post on Instagram, she shared that “On Thursday, July 19, 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.”

Today, her heartache is immeasurable as she attempts to grapple with the loss of a second child.
