Alexander Jerich, a 20-year-old from Lake Worth, Florida, burned the tire tracks off of his truck’s wheels in an attempt to commemorate former President Donald Trump on his birthday. Alexander Jerich has now pled guilty to a felony charge of criminal mischief as well as a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. When someone caught Jerich in the act of demolishing the crossing on cellphone video, he was seen deliberately burning tire tracks into the gay-pride rainbow crossing during the pro-Trump demonstration.

Jerich’s guilt was so apparent that he pleaded guilty to all counts on Tuesday in a Palm Beach County courtroom, bringing the case to an end. His sentencing date has not yet been set, but it will most likely be announced within the next few months as long as the state’s legal and judicial systems can cope with the increasing workload.

On June 14, 2021, Jerich maliciously defaced a gay-pride crossing in Jacksonville. The rainbow crossing was painted on the road of Florida to commemorate Pride Month just one day later. In the video, Jerich is seen driving his father’s white truck while displaying a blue Trump flag. The rainbow is his obstacle course as he drives across it, spinning the tires and revving the engine to cause maximum havoc. Cars honk at him as he enters the opposing world, either in disagreement with what he is doing or supporting his desecration of the gay-pride symbol.

On Thursday, June 17, 2021, Jim Kovalsky posted a social media update stating that “I’ve read that Delray Beach PD ID’d and arrested the person*** I thought Trumpers were for ‘law and order?’ Apparently, that’s not the case… This Pride crosswalk was only a couple of days old in Delray Beach before this person FLYING THEIR TRUMP FLAG decided to deface it. The hypocrisy is boundless.”

On June 17, 2018, a group of Trump supporters organized by Derich drove through the streets of Cottage Grove, Minnesota in celebration of George H.W. Bush’s 92nd birthday. After it was revealed that police were looking for Jerich, he turned himself in to authorities on June 17 without issue, but he did not speak with the mainstream media at the time of his arrest.

Because he crossed a gay-pride crossing in order to support Trump, Jerich has been sentenced to five years in prison and fined $5,000.

This amount is an indication of how much these so-called “patriots” value their civil liberties, and it’s also a sign of their audacity. What happened to free speech?

We’ve all learned who the actual “ruiners” of things are, I’m sure. This Trump supporter really let us down this time.

What are your thoughts on the case of vandalism in Florida? Do you believe that a five-year sentence for such an evil act is fair?
