In a stunning display of cruelty and political bigotry, a Houston-area pediatrician has been fired after she publicly mocked victims of the deadly Texas floods — because they dared to support President Trump.

Dr. Christina B. Propst, a pediatrician formerly affiliated with Blue Fish Pediatrics and Memorial Hermann Health System, unleashed a reprehensible tirade on Facebook that sparked immediate national outrage. In a now-deleted post under her old Facebook alias “Chris Tina,” Propst essentially said Trump-supporting flood victims got what they deserved.

“Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts,” she wrote, with a sickening mix of sarcasm and disdain. She then wished safety only for “visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets.”

Yes — you read that right. A licensed medical professional, supposedly devoted to the care of children, implied that dozens of innocent lives — many of them children — were expendable because of how their parents voted.

The backlash was swift and overwhelming. After the post went viral, thanks to watchdog account Libs of TikTok, Propst was first suspended and has now been officially terminated. Blue Fish Pediatrics released a statement making clear that her remarks were beyond the pale:

“We strongly condemn the comments that were made in that post. That post does not reflect the values, standards, or mission of Blue Fish Pediatrics. We do not support or condone any statement that politicizes tragedy, diminishes human dignity, or fails to clearly uphold compassion for every child and family, regardless of background or beliefs.”

Well said — though one wonders how such a person was ever hired to care for children in the first place.

Propst’s public profile has since vanished from both Blue Fish Pediatrics’ website and Memorial Hermann Health System’s directory. Memorial Hermann also distanced itself from her, stating:

“We have zero tolerance for such rhetoric which does not reflect the mission, vision or values of our system.”

As of now, the Texas Medical Board has not launched a formal investigation, though board president Dr. Sherif Zaafran acknowledged the controversy and pledged to look into any formal complaints.

Online, the response from outraged parents and citizens was fiery. “Please tell us this person is not allowed anywhere near patients in Texas?” one commenter wrote. Another pointed out, “The ethics, humanity and empathy illustrated here is unfathomable.”

The timing of Propst’s cruel remarks couldn’t be more disgraceful. As of today, at least 82 Texans — including 27 girls and counselors from a Christian summer camp — have died in the devastating floods that swept through the Hill Country region. Kerr County, a solidly conservative area where over 76% of residents voted for Trump in 2024, was one of the hardest hit.

In times of tragedy, Americans should unite — not divide along political lines. But to today’s radical Left, even the death of children is fair game for partisan gloating. Let this incident be a wake-up call: The rot of woke extremism doesn’t just live in academia or the media — it’s creeping into our hospitals, our schools, and even our pediatric clinics.

This isn’t just about politics. It’s about decency, compassion, and the soul of the nation. And Americans — especially parents — are watching.
