Students who are in the architecture department at Auburn Universal’s Rural Studio understand what it takes to build a house.

They also know how to make a tiny house with limited resources that is fully functional. The students took part in a program meant to teach the students how to build homes for those who don’t have a lot of money.

The students only spent $20,000 building each home. Two homes were built at first in the urban village of Serenbe in Georgia. These homes are a project that gives the students a way to provide for those who are less fortunate.

They work with a contractor and design all of the aspects of the homes from the ground to the roof.

All of the homes that are built have enough space for living, sleeping and cooking. There is a different design with the homes that have been built, making them unique for the people who live in them.

This project has turned into somewhat of a business as there are more people requesting the homes.

There have been about 17 homes built by the students. The homes are one or two bedrooms and feature many of the amenities that home owners would already need.
