It details how officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) knew about an alarming number of myocarditis cases — inflammation of the heart muscle — in February 2021, yet did not publicly acknowledge the risk until *months later*, in June.
“Even though CDC and FDA officials were well aware of the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, the Biden administration opted to withhold issuing a formal warning to the public for months about the safety concerns,” the report stated. “This jeopardized the health of young Americans.”
