The phony Russia collusion narrative that haunted President Trump’s first term — and wasted millions in taxpayer dollars — is roaring back into the headlines, thanks to newly declassified documents and the persistence of GOP lawmakers unwilling to let corruption slide.

This time, Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), one of the chief architects of the Russia hoax, is once again under fire, and this time it’s serious. The fresh spotlight comes courtesy of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and later, a key Durham Annex declassified by Senator Chuck Grassley, both of which are shining new light on Schiff’s alleged abuses while he chaired the House Intelligence Committee.

At the center of the storm is Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), who is leading the charge to hold Schiff accountable for what she and many conservatives believe was a deliberate and politically motivated attack on President Trump — one that cost taxpayers an eye-watering $32 million and shattered trust in key government institutions.

“There’s a lot of support within the Republican Conference for this,” Luna said. “This is one of many to come, but hopefully it sets the precedent that you can’t abuse your position of power to hurt political opponents.”

Luna minced no words on the House floor, slamming Schiff for weaponizing intelligence and lying to the American people:

> “As chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff launched an all-out political campaign built on baseless distortions against a sitting U.S. president at the expense of every single citizen in this country, and the honor of the House of Representatives.”

Of course, Schiff — a seasoned political operator who built his brand on the now-debunked Russia narrative — doubled down. “Donald Trump is under indictment for actions that jeopardize our national security,” he claimed, before brushing off Luna’s resolution as “petty political payback.” Schiff vowed, “I will not yield, not one inch.”

But the facts aren’t on his side.

Luna’s resolution, which passed largely along party lines, meticulously details how Schiff repeatedly lied to the American people by citing non-existent evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, even as multiple reports — from Robert Mueller, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, and Special Counsel John Durham — confirmed that the so-called “evidence” simply didn’t exist.

The resolution also rips Schiff for promoting the discredited Steele Dossier, which was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and riddled with falsehoods. Schiff even read its baseless accusations into the Congressional Record during a 2017 hearing — giving the hoax legitimacy it never earned.

It gets worse. Schiff also authored a deceptive memo defending the FISA warrant against Trump associate Carter Page, despite that same warrant later being exposed for 17 serious errors and omissions. Even the FISA Court’s own presiding judge admitted that the FBI had misled them — and Schiff helped make that happen.

The bottom line? Schiff used his powerful position to manufacture a narrative, mislead Congress and the public, and raise millions for himself and his allies — all while the American people footed the $32 million bill.

And now, thanks to leaders like Rep. Luna and Senator Grassley, the truth is finally catching up to him.
