On Thursday, September 8th at 3:10 pm, the 96-year-old monarch passed away before any of her children or grandchildren could reach her bedside. The public was not made aware for more than three hours later.

The death certificate, released by National Records of Scotland this afternoon, cites the Queen as dying of ‘old age’ – the same stated cause of death as Prince Philip’s in April 2021. The informant for Her Majesty’s death was her daughter Princess Anne, the Princess Royal.

The 3.10 pm death time on the historic document, which indicates the monarch’s job as “Her Majesty The Queen,” shows that King Charles and his only sister were with their mother at her passing in Aberdeenshire three weeks ago today.

The events of that tragic day have been confirmed, and it is now known that most of the Queen’s children and grandchildren tried unsuccessfully to be with her during her last hours.

When the Queen passed away, Prince William, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward were en route to Balmoral. They took off from RAF Northolt in South Ruislip at 2:39 pm and landed an hour later.

Prince Harry was not on the plane with his brother and had to make travel arrangements to get to Scotland independently. He took a jet from Luton which departed after his grandmother’s death. The Palace made its announcement at 6:30 pm, and he landed in Aberdeen only 16 minutes later. From there, he arrived at Balmoral Castle where she passed away almost five hours earlier.

While it is unknown when Harry was told, a spokesman for the King recently said:’The public was only informed after every family member had been informed.’

Douglas James Allan Glass is a registered medical practitioner who is certified to prescribe medications. He is also a GP from the Highlands village of Aboyne, around 20 miles from the Royal Family’s Scottish home. In addition, Dr. Glass holds the title of Apothecary to the Household at Balmoral.

The only cause of death listed was old age, with no other underlying causes.

It was the same cause for her death that appeared on Prince Philip’s certificate of death.

On September 16, 2022, the death of the Queen was registered in Aberdeenshire by Paul Lowe, registrar general for Scotland.

During a tribute to her mother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Princess Royal said she was by the queen’s side when she died.

Anne, who went with her mother’s casket from Balmoral to London through Edinburgh, commented: ‘I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest mother’s life.’

On the document, the princess is referred to as “the informant,” and she would have informed the local registrar of her mother’s passing.

The hours surrounding the Queen’s death were focused on her family racing to be by her side.

Princess Anne was already at Balmoral, where she had been performing public activities. King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla were in Dumfries to attend the funeral of a great Scottish patriot.

The other members of the Royal Family were in Northern England and London.

William flew with his uncle Andrew, Edward, and Aunt Sophie to RAF Northolt when the Queen died. They took off from London at 2:39 pm and landed an hour later.

They arrived at around 5 p.m. at Balmoral, with William in the driver’s seat.

Prince Harry departed alone from Luton, landing 16 minutes after the world learned of the Queen’s death at 6:30 p.m.

Buckingham Palace aides were furious when it was said that Harry had only five minutes notice of his grandmother’s death before the public was made aware.

It was later reported, according to a newspaper report, that the devastated royal had been the final one to learn of her death – and that he was even informed by his father after Prime Minister Liz Truss at 4.30 pm.

The rift between Prince Harry and his family has widened after he announced that he would be stepping down from royal duties and attacking the way in which he and Meghan were supposedly treated, according to reports.

However, those at Buckingham Palace were angry that these claims would appear on the eve of the Queen’s funeral. This was seen as incredibly disrespectful given the situation.

In an unusual move, a spokesman for the King publicly stated: ‘The public was only informed after every family member had been informed.’

While Harry was told about the news shortly before it became public, this was only because he was on a flight and therefore couldn’t be contacted.

The death certificate has confirmed what was suggested on the day, that some of the Queen’s children and grandchildren attempted to be with her during the late monarch’s final hours.
