As expected, the left-wing protest machine is ramping up its antics once again, this time targeting Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) during a town hall event in Cobb County, Georgia, on April 15. While liberals may have claimed a temporary victory after President Trump’s electoral win, they’re certainly not giving up their fight. And as usual, that means throwing chaos into the mix.

The event, which was supposed to be a peaceful town hall where Rep. Greene could engage with her constituents, quickly turned into a full-blown riot. Within minutes of MTG taking the stage, chaos ensued as protesters disrupted the meeting, forcing law enforcement to step in. Two of the unruly protesters were tasered, six were arrested, and a shocking (pun intended) level of aggression unfolded.

This wasn’t just a small scuffle. The police officers, working in conjunction with the Acworth Police Department, had their hands full. While the vast majority of attendees behaved peacefully, a few left-wing activists clearly came to disrupt, not debate. According to Doug Reardon, an Atlanta-area reporter, the situation was tense right from the beginning. “We’re off to an insanely tense start at the @RepMTG town hall in Cobb County. Three people have been removed and one of them was tased after scuffling with police,” Reardon tweeted.

The situation escalated further when CBS News reporter Jarod Eggleston shared a video clip of the confrontation. In the footage, you can hear a police officer shouting, “Put your hands behind your back!” A male protester responds with a defiant, “F*ck off!”—a clear sign that the protesters had no interest in engaging in any civil discourse. Shortly after, the protester disappears from view, followed by the unmistakable sound of a taser.

For Rep. Greene, this disruption didn’t deter her. In a post on X after the event, she wrote, “I’m not intimidated by the Democrats who tried to shut down my town hall tonight. I refused to tolerate their selfish attempts to disrupt an event that was for all of my constituents, not just the ones who could make the most noise. This is the type of business that should be handled at the voting booth.”

The Acworth Police Department, in a social media post, acknowledged the peaceful demonstrations that occurred outside the event, praising those who respectfully exercised their First Amendment rights. However, they also condemned the actions of the protesters who attempted to create disruption. “It is disappointing that a very small number of people actively worked to create a temporary disruption to what was otherwise a completely peaceful event,” they said.

The police department emphasized that they stood firmly behind law enforcement and the right of elected officials to host events in peace, regardless of their political affiliation. “The City of Acworth will always do two things,” the department added. “One, we will stand behind the men and women that wear the uniform. Second, we will support elected representatives of any and all parties hosting events at our facilities. The purpose of this town hall was for Congresswoman Greene to communicate to her constituents, not to place others in danger.”

Rep. Greene’s town hall may have been marred by protester chaos, but the message is clear: the left-wing mob may try to shut down conservative voices, but they’ll never silence the people’s representatives.
