One of the worst things that you will find when washing dishes is greasy pots and pans.
The grease seems to linger on even the plates that are washed in the water after the pots and pans have been cleaned. There is a simple trick to clean even the greasiest items that requires very little effort.
You don’t need to look in the kitchen for the products that are needed to clean your pans. The item that you need is in the laundry room. Dryer sheets will help to clean your pots and pans better than the high-priced dish detergent that you’ve been using.
The process works while you sleep. Put a dryer sheet in the middle of the pan. Any brand will work. Pour warm water over the dryer sheet. Add a small amount of dish soap.
Spread the soap all over the pan so that it covers the base. You can let the pan sit overnight so that the soap and dryer sheet has a chance to loosen the grease. Using the dryer sheet instead of a cloth, wash the entire pan.
The grease and any food particles should come right off if you’ve let the soap and sheet do their work.
