If you grew up in the 1980s, then you know of the popularity of Disney VHS tapes. It seems like every week brought a new title that had to be included in the movie library at home.

Now, there are special editions and limited editions of the movies that might be worth quite a bit of money if you have them in the home.

Hehe…Every time I go into a thrift store I always browse the VHS section for this movie with this cover art.

Finally found one! Love it haha A mint condition “Cinderella” Black Diamond movie is bringing in over $5,000. “Dumbo” has seen about $2,000, and that’s not even in mint condition.

“Aladdin” is one of the top movies on eBay with over $10,000 in your pocket if it’s mint and has a Black Diamond.

Even though it’s a bit less money, “The Little Mermaid” that is unopened is going for a few hundred. Possibly the largest amount that you would make from a movie is with “Beauty and the Beast.”

It has seen over $17,000 from the Black Diamond edition. It’s best to check your movie library now for these titles and more.

There is a growing market for Disney VHS tapes with some going for $25,000 online. But the frenzy isn't all it's cracked up to be.(Tuesday, June 7, 2016)
