Patrick Gibson is a soldier for the United States Army. He has sacrificed so that others can have freedom.
If he is in the Army, then the United States is alright with the idea that those in the military don’t have enough to eat. Gibson recently took to his Facebook page to give his thoughts on how he has to skip meals just so that his wife and baby have food.
He works hard fighting for the country, but his family often doesn’t have enough to eat.
He posted two pictures while he was in the grocery store.
One picture that Gibson posted is of the amount of groceries that he purchased, including diapers. He paid cash for his groceries because he makes too much to get any kind of assistance.
The other picture shows the amount of groceries that the person in front of him purchased. There were two buggies full of foods that included steak, chicken and other items that Gibson can’t afford to buy.
The person who bought these items used food stamps. Gibson doesn’t have a problem with someone using food stamps, but the person in front of him had a large amount of money in his wallet as well.
The person also had a new vehicle. Gibson told the person who purchased the food that it could be enjoyed thanks to someone who works hard for a living.
