You’ve probably seen puzzles online that claim to determine your IQ or if you can see certain objects that are hidden.
Some of them claim to determine whether you are color blind or not while others just test how smart you are when it comes to math and other subjects. One puzzle is going viral, and there are very few people who seem to be able to solve it correctly.
The puzzle features math equations. These equations look like they would be simple, but it does take a few minutes to figure out how the puzzle works. It’s important to look at the first equation very carefully. It’s 1 + 4 = 5.
This seems simple enough, but when you look at the next problem, which is 2 + 5 = 12, you might not know how the answer is achieved unless you think about the answer to the previous problem first.
You need to think about what adds together to get to 12 with the number 5. The answer to this will give you 7, which is what 5 + 2 is as an answer.
There are actually a few different ways to reach the final answer, but the concept is the same with each solution if you think about addition and multiplication.
