The newly unsealed Epstein files continue to rock America’s political and tech elites — and this time, they’ve pulled Bill Gates back into the spotlight. Text messages released by Congress on November 13, 2025, show the disgraced financier repeatedly trying to rekindle a relationship with the Microsoft billionaire in 2017, pushing a donor-advised fund idea that Gates seemed open to… until Melinda Gates slammed the brakes.
The messages reveal a level of closeness between Gates and Epstein that Democrats and corporate media spent years pretending didn’t exist. One message from Gates’ personal adviser to Epstein reads like something out of a bad soap opera: “He wants to talk to you but his wife won’t let him. He loves you. He says hi. He feels bad about the [donor advised fund] btw. He thought great idea but wife wouldn’t allow.”
Epstein, who always fancied himself a master manipulator of the wealthy and powerful, suggested bringing in then–Obama fixer Kathryn Ruemmler to help sway Melinda. “Would love to sit with Melinda and give her the other side of Jeffrey,” he wrote — a line that aged about as terribly as one could imagine. Naturally, no such meeting ever happened.
Years later, Bill Gates tried to downplay the relationship after Epstein’s 2019 arrest, claiming he had “no business relationship or friendship” with him and calling their interactions a “huge mistake.” But Melinda French Gates told a very different story. She openly stated she “did not like that he had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein,” and made that clear. Their 2021 divorce later confirmed what many suspected: the Epstein connection was a major factor.
Online reaction has been swift — and brutal. “Why are Dems DEAD SILENT about Bill Gates’ Epstein bromance?” one viral post asked, reminding Americans that Melinda herself confirmed it played a role in the breakup of their 30-year marriage. Another observer noted, “None of the people in these emails lovingly chatting with Epstein will face social consequences… it basically went into a memory hole.”
And while the press has scrambled to shield Gates, the same cannot be said for their obsessive effort to tie Epstein to President Trump — despite the facts showing the opposite. In a recent Oval Office exchange, ABC’s Mary Bruce tried yet again to imply some hidden link.
“Mr. President, why haven’t you ordered the full release of the Epstein files?” she asked.
Trump fired back with what the media refuses to acknowledge: “I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a pervert. And I turned out to be right.”
Then he reminded Bruce where Epstein’s real political alliances were. “You know who did have him? Bill Clinton. Larry Summers — he was with him every single night. They went to his island many times. I never did.”
He concluded by calling out the obvious political motive: “The Epstein thing is a Democrat hoax to stop me from talking about the $21 trillion I talked about today.”
The contrast could not be clearer. Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. Gates continued meeting with him behind his wife’s back. And Democrats — who are desperate to hide their own party’s long, tangled history with Epstein — remain suspiciously quiet.
