When it comes to meals, a toddler may be very picky. Still, parents will attempt to provide their children with nutritious meals and snacks. When a kid refuses to eat certain types of foods, such as veggies or fruit, the mother might become difficult trying to include that vegetable or fruit into his diet.

When a youngster doesn’t want to eat the dishes prepared by his or her mother, he or she shouldn’t be physically harmed or emotionally abused.

A mother was sentenced to 19 years in prison for the death of her two-year-old son.

Nancy Woolheater, a mother of one from Wichita, Kansas, murdered her toddler because he refused to eat his hot dog. According to the Wichita Eagle, a Sedgwick County justice stated that a “sentence has been earned” for the death of this baby boy. Lucas Diel, Woolheater’s boyfriend at the time of the attack and also there when it happened allegedly smacked the kid.

He faces a more severe sentence of 49 years in prison for second-degree murder, which is the most severe charge against him.

According to reports, one of the male children’s injuries discovered on his body included a fractured arm, nose, and rib. He also had facial bruises, stomach bruises, back and buttock bruising. There is no doubt that this youngster was tortured for months.

According to police reports, on May 6, 2018, Anthony “Bunnn” was discovered dead on his home floor. This occurred two days after he was brutally assaulted at his residence in the Riverside area by his mother and boyfriend. The couple was arrested shortly after that.

They gave various explanations for what had occurred to the youngster during questioning. Both of them were unable to properly explain the cause of the boys’ severe injuries.

The mother told the cops she “lost it” when her son refused to eat pieces of hot dog that she offered him for breakfast. She was unable to contain her fury, and she slapped him across the face. While the boyfriend held the food in his son’s mouth, the mother struck him repeatedly. The mother then left her child with her lover.

When she returned to the room, she discovered her son with a fractured tooth, his lips cut and bleeding, and his face puffed up. She claimed that her boyfriend was beating her child. The boyfriend, on the other hand, denied striking the kid. He said the youngster had tumbled from his bed inadvertently.

“Neither the rule of law nor the community tolerate this kind of harm done … to our children. Tony was under your charge. And your job was to raise him and protect him.” said Judge Jeff Syrios to the mother during one hearing.

During one of the hearings, Judge Jeff Syrios told the mother, “Neither the rule of law nor the community tolerates this kind of harm done … to our children. Tony was under your charge. And your job was to raise him and protect him.” She replied, “I know that I’ll never be able to make up for or undo the mistakes I made. I know that I failed my son when he needed me.” She added, “I do want it to be known that I did love Tony -and I still do – with all my heart.”

On a later hearing date, Woolheater’s father told her that he loved her and that she was still the little girl he held when she was born. However, he went on to say that as a parent, it is her responsibility to be there for her child. The grandfather feels strongly about this issue and hopes it does not happen to any other kid.
