In classic Trump fashion—bold, unbothered, and entirely unafraid—President Donald J. Trump is now cruising the fairways in what social media has dubbed “Golf Force One,” a custom, heavily-armored golf cart that’s turning heads and setting a new standard for presidential protection.

A viral video posted in late July 2025 gave Americans their first glimpse of the beastly cart. While it might look like a standard ride at first glance, this machine is far more than a vehicle for the back nine. Outfitted with bulletproof glass and reinforced panels, “Golf Force One” is a rolling fortress—subtle in size, serious in purpose.

And given the threats President Trump has faced, it’s more than justified.

The cart appears to be a direct response to two chilling assassination attempts in the past year alone. The first, in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, made national headlines. The second, far less publicized by left-wing media outlets, occurred at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach just two months later, when a would-be assassin armed with a rifle was apprehended before he could strike.

That September 15th plot was thwarted thanks to the vigilance of the Secret Service, who spotted the gunman, 59-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, lurking in shrubbery with a scoped weapon. Routh was indicted by the DOJ later that month for attempted assassination of a former president.

For once, even Attorney General Merrick Garland was forced to issue a statement condemning the violence, saying, “Violence targeting public officials endangers everything our country stands for.” For a DOJ that’s typically more focused on targeting conservatives for minor infractions, it was a rare and overdue moment of clarity.

In response, Trump—never one to back down or be intimidated—quietly upgraded his security, including this now-iconic armored cart. The public only learned of “Golf Force One” thanks to conservative commentator Collin Rugg, who posted footage online. The cart quickly captured the imagination of Trump supporters, with one user joking, “That thing looks awesome. I want one to drive around my yard and protect me from my wife and kids.”

Industry expert Gary Relf told *The Telegraph* that the cart’s reinforced windscreen alone indicates high-level ballistic protection. “When we armor a vehicle,” he explained, “we gut everything—roof, seats, carpet—install protection, then reassemble it. The windscreen is a giveaway, along with the door panels and rear plating.”

Relf emphasized that this cart is designed for defense, not offense—fitting for a president who remains a constant target of both political smears and real-world violence.

Naturally, the Secret Service kept mum on specifics, issuing a predictable but necessary statement: “The US Secret Service employs a variety of tools and resources to safeguard our protectees… we do not discuss the specific means and methods used.”

In truth, “Golf Force One” sends a message bigger than any press release ever could: Trump’s not going anywhere. Whether on the campaign trail or the golf course, he’s staying protected, staying strong, and staying focused on saving the country—no matter how many threats come his way.
