He has been cast aside and ostracized.

Anthony Loffredo, aka the “black alien,” has undergone a dramatic transformation. He’s removed his ears and nostrils; sharpened his teeth to an alarming point; dyed them purple; covered himself in intense tattoos. However, despite this drastic metamorphosis, he still feels unwelcome in some spaces – proving that even out-of-this-world looks can’t always guarantee acceptance.

“If I want to eat at a restaurant, sometimes the server says I can’t eat on the terrace,” Loffredo, recently said.

By either changing the size of their figure or injecting fillers into their face, many opt for body modifications. But Loffredo’s transformation is on a whole other level – in his own words he was “miserable living in a body [he] didn’t belong to”. He now finds assurance from people who have told him they feel more confident when looking at him. His out-of-this-world alteration has completely changed how he looks and feels about himself!

“It’s a fight every day, because every day you find new people who don’t understand, who want to judge. It’s life, not everyone understands everything. Like me, I don’t understand lots of things about lots of people,” he said.

“You can’t judge someone. No one knows what’s inside someone’s head, why they’re doing that, you need to talk with this person,” added Loffredo, he insists he’s a “normal guy” with family and friends, just like everyone else.

Despite the obstacles, his enthusiasm for body modification remains unceasing. He is even willing to go so far as to have an amputation of one of his legs!

“It’s something really hard because I have a healthy leg, and an amputation is something big,” he said about the surgery.

Formerly, he confessed that he had always been “passionate about mutations and transformations” — even “from a very young age.” It wasn’t until he reached his twenties that the tattoo enthusiast decided to seriously pursue transforming himself through unusual body modifications.

“I love getting into the shoes of a scary character. I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets,” he said in 2021. “I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”

Not only has Loffredo opted for extreme body modifications – there are those who have gone as far as to tattoo their eyeballs, split their tongues or even surgically altered themselves to look like elves.
