A major shake-up is coming to the Republican Party — and it’s bad news for the old guard of establishment politicians who’ve spent years cozying up to Democrats and selling out conservative values. A growing list of so-called RINOs — “Republicans In Name Only” — is either retiring or facing serious primary threats from America First challengers, signaling a new, unapologetically conservative era for the GOP.

According to a viral post circulating on X, Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE), Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) are all in trouble. The post bluntly read: “🚨 RETIRING: – Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE2) – Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) – Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) IN HUGE TROUBLE: – Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX)…to Ken Paxton.”

That last line caught everyone’s attention — especially Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who replied simply, “Huge trouble.” The comment sent a shockwave through conservative circles, with grassroots supporters rallying around the idea of replacing one of the Senate’s longest-serving establishment figures with a staunch Trump ally.

In the replies, conservatives celebrated the changing tide. “It’s about time we lost every single one of them,” one user wrote. Another added, “Trump’s MAGA movement is reshaping the GOP! The old guard is out, and America First warriors are rising. The future is Trump’s!”

Few figures symbolize the D.C. swamp more than Senator John Cornyn. Once a powerful fixture in the Senate GOP, Cornyn has alienated the conservative base with his repeated attacks on President Trump and his willingness to parrot Democrat talking points. During the Russiagate hoax, Cornyn even claimed that Russian meddling “had an impact” on the 2016 election — a statement that could have been lifted straight from CNN.

Now, Cornyn’s political career may finally be on the ropes. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton — one of the nation’s most effective and fearless conservative fighters — is leading the charge to replace him. And the numbers back it up.

In a scathing campaign update, the Paxton team announced that their candidate not only outraised Cornyn by $2.1 million in the second quarter but also brought in more money than any other Republican Senate incumbent nationwide. “The movement to fire John Cornyn has more enthusiasm right now than any other Senate campaign in America,” Paxton’s team declared.

The press release didn’t mince words, referring to Cornyn as “Little John” and accusing him of deceiving the media about his fundraising. “There’s nothing about the lies that ‘Little John’ fed the media that can change the fact that his campaign couldn’t even raise $1 million last quarter, let alone the $3.9 million he claimed,” it said pointedly.

Paxton himself summed up the situation in a fiery post to X: “John Cornyn is getting desperate, and everyone in DC knows it. He’s attacking me with the same arguments he used to try and take down President Trump — and he’s just as wrong now as he was then.”

With McConnell’s retirement, Tillis and Bacon on their way out, and Cornyn facing a grassroots rebellion, the message is clear: The era of weak, corporate-friendly Republicans is ending. The America First movement isn’t just reshaping the GOP — it’s taking it back.
