The uproar centers around the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien with alleged ties to the brutal MS-13 gang. The Trump Administration deported Garcia in mid-March under the long-standing **Alien Enemies Act**, first passed during the John Adams presidency — a law that remains on the books and allows for the removal of dangerous foreign nationals affiliated with threats to the United States.
But instead of praising the move to rid American communities of a violent gang associate, liberal pundits and Democratic politicians have tried to turn Garcia into a folk hero. Yes, you read that right. The same people who claim to care about crime victims are now parroting slogans like “Bring Kilmar home” — defending an alleged MS-13 member in the name of “due process.”
