Newly confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel isn’t wasting any time making waves, and his past comments about corruption in Washington have resurfaced, sending shockwaves through the political establishment—particularly for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
During a no-holds-barred interview with former Navy SEAL and Blackwater contractor Shawn Ryan on *The Shawn Ryan Show*, Patel didn’t mince words about what he sees as blatant insider trading by Pelosi. Calling her a “corrupt politician,” Patel exposed what many Americans have long suspected—that Pelosi and her husband, Paul Pelosi, have used their political influence to rake in millions through conveniently timed stock trades.
The September 2024 interview, now making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter), has gained renewed attention following Patel’s confirmation as FBI Director. Many see it as a sign that Patel is serious about going after deep-seated corruption in Washington—starting with Pelosi and her stock market dealings.
A popular X account, *Unusual Whales*, which tracks Congressional stock trades, shared a damning clip of Patel calling out Pelosi’s history of suspiciously lucrative stock transactions. “Look at Nancy Pelosi’s insider trading deals,” Patel said. “It is insider trading, and she keeps making $100s of millions of dollars.”
Social media users erupted in agreement, with one commenter declaring, “For those who don’t know… Insider trading is theft. These people are selling or buying stocks, influencing the price of your shares with an unfair advantage.” Another wrote, “The Pelosi family has been cashing in for years. Time to expose the corruption.”
Another user pointed out the significance of Patel’s appointment, suggesting that the days of Washington elites getting away with financial crimes might finally be numbered: “So Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, and friends should be very concerned. Kash Patel isn’t going to be playing around. He’s not looking for the media spotlight! He’s going to bring the thunder!”
Patel’s bold stance on corruption doesn’t stop at Pelosi. In his interview with Ryan, he outlined a sweeping plan to overhaul the FBI, starting with its bloated headquarters in D.C. “I’d shut down the FBI Hoover Building on day one and reopen it the next day as a museum of the Deep State,” Patel declared. “Then, I’d take the 7,000 employees that work in that building and send them across America to chase down criminals. Go be cops. You’re cops—go be cops.”
This marks a drastic departure from the weaponized, politically driven FBI of recent years, which many Americans believe has been used as a tool to protect the political elite while targeting everyday citizens.
Patel also pointed to widespread waste and abuse in federal agencies, a problem that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency is now tackling. “Every agency and department that I’ve ever worked for, when it comes to the fiscal end of the year, they’re like, ‘Go on trips, go spend money.’ What? Just give it back to Congress. We can’t do that,” Patel said, emphasizing the need for real accountability.
With Patel at the helm of the FBI, the D.C. establishment’s days of unchecked power may be coming to an end. If his past statements are any indication, Nancy Pelosi and her allies may soon find themselves facing the very justice they’ve long evaded. The question now is: Will Washington finally see a reckoning, or will the Swamp fight back to protect its own?
