While Los Angeles descends into chaos at the hands of radical anti-ICE mobs, Vice President Kamala Harris has once again proven she’s more interested in political theater than public safety — and one California sheriff isn’t having it.
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco didn’t mince words after Harris tried to lay the blame for the violence at the feet of former President Donald Trump. In a scathing post on X, Bianco called Harris’ comments *“an embarrassment”* and slammed Democrats for enabling lawlessness.
> “President Trump didn’t start these riots,” Bianco wrote. “He’s not out there lighting cars on fire, hurling projectiles at law enforcement, or blocking freeways.”
> “The Democrats and their ‘leaders’ own this.”
Bianco, who is running for California governor in 2026, is one of the few voices in state leadership willing to say what most Californians are thinking: the left’s soft-on-crime, anti-law enforcement agenda has turned major cities into war zones. And instead of condemning the violence, Harris is doing what Democrats do best — blaming Trump and excusing the criminal behavior of their activist base.
In her tone-deaf statement, Harris accused the Trump administration of *“stoking fear”* by deploying the National Guard to restore order.
> “Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos,” Harris claimed — apparently forgetting that chaos was already in full swing before the Guard arrived.
She even had the gall to describe the protests as *“overwhelmingly peaceful,”* despite the LAPD itself admitting its officers were *“overwhelmed”* after three straight days of violence, vandalism, and attacks on law enforcement.
Let’s be clear: these aren’t peaceful protesters. They’re far-left agitators — many of them anti-ICE extremists — who are assaulting federal agents with rocks and cement, torching vehicles, and storming highways. This isn’t a demonstration. It’s a riot.
Meanwhile, Democrat leaders like Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass are falling in line with Harris, choosing to defend the rioters and vilify the very people trying to protect the city. Newsom even vowed to *sue* the Trump administration for deploying the National Guard, whining about *“state sovereignty”* as if that takes priority over public safety.
> “Trump has created the conditions for this,” Newsom claimed — conveniently ignoring his own party’s repeated failures to maintain law and order.
Mayor Bass added to the delusion, warning citizens not to fall into the “chaos” she bizarrely claimed was being created by the federal response — not the masked mobs looting stores and shutting down freeways.
President Trump, never one to back down from a challenge, called out the insanity on Truth Social:
> “Looking really bad in L.A. BRING IN THE TROOPS!!!” he posted.
> “ARREST THE PEOPLE IN FACE MASKS, NOW!”
While the left continues to coddle criminals and blame Trump for everything under the sun, everyday Californians are paying the price. If Democrats like Kamala Harris are more concerned with protecting rioters than protecting citizens, maybe they should take Sheriff Bianco’s advice — and step aside.
