Fox News’ resident liberal, Jessica Tarlov, had a full-blown meltdown on *The Five* over former President Donald Trump’s criticism of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies following a tragic crash in Washington, D.C., that left dozens dead. Instead of acknowledging the real concerns about DEI lowering standards in critical industries like aviation, Tarlov lashed out at Trump for daring to put American safety over political correctness.

In the wake of the disaster, Trump wasted no time highlighting the failures of Democrat-led DEI initiatives, saying, *“I put safety first. Obama, Biden, and the Democrats put policy first.”* He pointed to troubling language from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which states that hiring considerations now include factors such as hearing and vision impairments, missing extremities, paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability, and even dwarfism.

Trump’s core argument? The people in charge of our nation’s air traffic control and aviation safety should be hired based on skill, not a woke checklist. Seems like common sense—but not to Tarlov.

Rather than address the legitimate safety concerns Trump raised, Tarlov exploded, saying, *“There is a moment to be talking about those things [DEI policies], and there is a moment to just be a consoler-in-chief.”* She then parroted CNN aviation correspondent Pete Muntean, who predictably called Trump’s statement “unprofessional, unpresidential, inconsiderate” and—of course—“unhinged.”

Because apparently, pointing out that air travel safety should prioritize competence over quotas is “unhinged” to the left.

In a desperate attempt to score points, Tarlov even tried to claim that Trump should have eliminated DEI in his first term, whining, *“And these DEI policies were put in place in 2013. He had every opportunity through his first administration to revoke them if he thought they were terrible, but he didn’t.”*

Interesting. So now Democrats admit DEI policies are a problem but want to blame Trump for not dismantling them fast enough? That’s a new one.

This wasn’t even Tarlov’s only tantrum of the week. The day before, she went on another unhinged rant, this time about Trump’s war against the bureaucratic Deep State. Furious over Trump’s funding freeze and his plan to drain the swamp, Tarlov called his moves “complete chaos,” complaining that it was “not being managed in any sort of orderly fashion at all.”

When Jesse Watters chuckled after hearing that a government bureaucrat had vowed to stay in office to “fight Trump” rather than take a buyout offer, Tarlov lost it. *“Acting as if everybody who has dedicated their life to public service is easily replaceable or not doing their job is a gross position and not reflective of reality at all,”* she ranted.

Maybe she hasn’t been paying attention, but the Deep State has spent years undermining the will of the American people and obstructing conservative policies. Trump is finally doing what needs to be done—taking on the unelected bureaucrats who think they run the country.

Tarlov’s over-the-top reactions prove one thing: The left is in full panic mode. Trump is exposing the failures of DEI, taking on the bloated government bureaucracy, and making it clear that his second term will be about real accountability. The swamp isn’t happy—but the American people are.
