Ivana Trump, age 73, has died of a heart attack.

According to her ex-husband, former President Trump, who announced her death on his Truth Social account on Thursday afternoon, the former model died in her residence on New York City’s Upper East Side.

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”

Ivana Trump’s death was confirmed by her son, Eric Trump, who said in a family statement: “Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend.

‘Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination.

‘She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.'”

Ivana was born in Czechoslovakia in 1949, but she moved to Canada in the mid-1970s before relocating to the United States.

At Trump’s Atlantic City casino, she met him, whom she married in 1977. She first met him while working as a model there.

After meeting in the late 1980s, Trump and Ivana were married for 13 years before divorcing in 1990. Trump had an affair with Marla Maples, who subsequently became his second wife.

Following their divorce, Ivana began dating Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi, who died of skin cancer in October 2021.

After dating for six years, Ivana Trump and Rossano Rubini married in 2008 at Mar-A-Lago, her ex-husband Donald’s Palm Beach mansion.

She was 59 years old, and he was 36.
