On September 23, beloved Heartland Actor Robert Cormier passed away at just 33 years old.

Robert’s sister Stephanie stated to The Hollywood Reporter that he died as a result of injuries from a fall. He passed away at a hospital in Ontario, Canada. The official cause of his death has not yet been revealed.

“Robert was an athlete, an actor, and a great brother. He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more,” his obituary reads. “He enjoyed movie nights with his family, and looked up greatly to his father.”

Cormier, who played Finn on season 15 of Heartland, was supposed to appear in the next season as well. The untimely death of an actor has left the cast and crew of Heartland reeling. The show, set in Alberta, Canada, is a family drama that follows the highs and lows of life. On Instagram, the show’s staff expressed their condolences to the late actor’s friends and family.

Cormier is survived by his parents, Robert and Lisa; his sisters Brittany, Krystal, and Stephanie; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Cormier’s grandfathers Bobby and Keith predecease him along with his grandmother Connie.
