Texas Governor Greg Abbott didn’t hold back when firing back at radical leftist Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) after she stooped to a new low—mocking his disability during a speech at a far-left nonprofit dinner. Her disgusting comments not only revealed the true nature of the modern Democratic Party but also underscored why Americans continue to reject their toxic, hateful rhetoric.

During a speech at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles on March 22, Crockett first made a bizarre remark about Texas weather before launching into a cruel attack on Gov. Abbott.

“We in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey!” she exclaimed before mocking his use of a wheelchair. “Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now!” she sneered. She then finished off her pathetic attempt at humor by saying, “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey.”

For context, Abbott has been paralyzed from the waist down since 1984 when an oak tree fell on him while he was jogging. He has never used his condition for political gain and rarely even mentions it. That didn’t stop Crockett—a sitting congresswoman—from openly mocking a disabled man, proving once again that the party that claims to be about “compassion” has none when it comes to conservatives.

Gov. Abbott fired back during an appearance on *Hannity* on March 25, exposing Crockett’s comments as just another example of the Democrats’ failed leadership and obsession with hate.

“It’s another day and another disaster by the Democrats,” Abbott said. “The reality is they have no vision, no policy.”

He continued, pointing out that Americans are fed up with the Left’s non-stop hostility. “They have nothing to sell but hate, and Americans are not buying it.”

Abbott then highlighted that Texas remains a conservative stronghold because people reject the Left’s divisive nonsense. “It’s one reason why Texas is going to remain red,” he stated.

And while Democrats like Crockett waste time launching personal attacks, Abbott has been focused on making Texas the best place to live and do business. “Texas ranks number one for the most new economic development projects for 13 years in a row. CEOs who run businesses have ranked Texas the best state for doing business for 20 years in a row,” he noted.

Realizing she had crossed a line, Crockett scrambled to do damage control, posting a desperate defense on social media. Instead of apologizing, she bizarrely claimed that she wasn’t mocking Abbott’s disability—she was supposedly referring to his policies on illegal immigration.

“I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors,” she claimed.

Of course, this explanation is laughable. The phrase “Governor Hot Wheels” is a direct jab at Abbott’s wheelchair use—there’s no way around it. But rather than take responsibility, Crockett doubled down, whining that conservatives were only mad because she targeted a Republican.

“So, I’m even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump—a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities—are now outraged,” she ranted.

Her arrogance continued in a follow-up post where she dismissed criticism as a “distraction,” saying, “Instead of obsessing over and hanging on to my every word, maybe my political foes should focus on doing the work of the people.”

Crockett’s vile comments show exactly why the Democratic Party is collapsing. Instead of offering real solutions, their members rely on schoolyard insults and identity politics. They claim to champion “tolerance” and “inclusion,” yet they have no problem mocking a disabled conservative when it suits them.

Gov. Abbott handled the situation with class, proving once again why he remains one of the most respected conservative leaders in the country. Meanwhile, Crockett’s disgraceful attack will only further alienate voters who are sick of the Left’s hypocrisy and hate.
