A serious crackdown is underway as the FBI launches a full-fledged investigation into the financial forces fueling violent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. The probe was triggered after a California-based company revealed it had been solicited with “high-budget” offers to artificially inflate protest crowds — a tactic long used by radical leftist groups to manufacture the appearance of mass support for their destructive agendas.
On June 13, Fox News Digital broke the story that Crowds on Demand, a crowd-organizing firm based in California, received multiple requests to supply paid protesters to swell attendance at the Los Angeles anti-ICE demonstrations, which began on June 6. The company declined these requests, citing concerns about becoming complicit in illegal activities such as violence, vandalism, and unlawful road closures.
Crowds on Demand’s spokesperson told Fox, “We receive inquiries regarding practically every major social cause imaginable, and the anti-ICE demonstrations are no exception. But the fact that we receive requests does not mean we accept them, especially when budgets don’t align with ambitions — and especially when it involves violent or unlawful behavior.” The company emphasized that it works with “commonsense causes” across the political spectrum but refuses to enable any form of lawlessness.
The revelation that paid agitators were being recruited to stage these protests casts new light on the chaos seen in L.A. streets — scenes of violence and destruction many conservatives have decried as orchestrated left-wing mob tactics rather than genuine grassroots outrage. The involvement of cash behind these protests raises questions about who is bankrolling these riots and why.
FBI Director Kash Patel has confirmed the agency is actively investigating “any and all monetary connections” linked to the violent anti-ICE demonstrations. The federal probe underscores the gravity of these events, which go beyond mere public dissent and edge into potential domestic terrorism territory.
Retired FBI special agent Jason Pack told Fox News Digital that those responsible for organizing the riots could face serious federal charges. “Federal authorities may describe violent protest actions as ‘domestic terrorism’ if there’s evidence they aimed to intimidate the public or influence government decisions through force,” Pack explained. Though domestic terrorism isn’t a standalone criminal charge, the Department of Justice warns that “nothing is off the table” when prosecuting those involved, pledging to pursue the most serious charges available.
This investigation has gained momentum thanks in part to Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), who is personally pursuing leads on the leftist groups allegedly funding and coordinating these violent protests. Hawley is zeroing in on organizations like the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), and Union del Barrio (UD). The senator warned, “This is not spontaneous. We see the riots spreading from Los Angeles to Chicago and St. Louis. Somebody is paying for all of this, and we need to get to the bottom of it.”
For conservatives, this FBI investigation confirms long-held suspicions: the violent anti-ICE protests aren’t organic movements of concerned citizens but calculated, well-funded campaigns designed to disrupt law enforcement, undermine immigration policies, and sow chaos in American cities. The hope is that law enforcement and lawmakers will finally hold these radical agitators and their financiers accountable for the damage they’ve inflicted on public safety and order.
As the federal inquiry unfolds, Americans deserve transparency about who is behind these destructive protests—and a clear commitment from the justice system that funding violence and chaos won’t be tolerated in our streets.
