The Democratic National Committee is in full-blown panic after Chairman Ken Martin ordered staffers back to the office five days a week—an utterly normal expectation for most working Americans, but apparently a shocking act of “cruelty” to the pampered DNC workforce.

According to reports, woke staffers and their union erupted in outrage the moment Martin announced the end of the COVID-era work-from-home luxury. The DNC Staff Union accused him of “callous” timing and claimed the policy is unfair given “economic conditions created by the Trump administration”—a laughable excuse considering Democrats control the White House and the economy is suffering under *their* policies, not Trump’s.

The tantrum quickly escalated when Chairman Martin, refusing to indulge the meltdown, reportedly told the whining employees a truth rarely heard in D.C.: **if they don’t like it, they can leave.**

“If they don’t like the new policy, they should find a job elsewhere,” Martin said bluntly, adding that remote work was a temporary “Band-Aid that needed to be ripped off.”

Even fellow Democrats couldn’t stomach the spectacle. Neera Tanden—hardly a friend to conservatives—mocked the staffers’ outrage, telling them to “get it together” and reminding them that if they truly believe their own rhetoric about “saving democracy,” showing up to work shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Likewise, Democratic strategist Steve Schale blasted the staffers’ entitled attitude. “Terms like flex hours and hybrid work don’t exist on battleground campaigns,” he said, implying DNC employees have no idea what hard work actually looks like.

The Center for New Liberalism piled on, pointing out the obvious: campaign jobs require sacrifice, long hours, and in-person collaboration. “Your single purpose is to win the election,” the group lectured. “If you think remote work is holding you back, it probably is.”

But the DNC staff union continued to whine, issuing a melodramatic statement claiming they were “shocked” at the chairman’s decision and insisting they worked “extremely hard” to secure Democratic wins last week. The union lamented that the return-to-office policy was especially painful “considering current economic conditions”—the same failing economy Democrats created through inflationary spending, open borders, and anti-energy policies.

Republicans wasted no time ridiculing the meltdown.

“You can’t make this up,” joked former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. “The DNC union is furious they actually have to go to work.”

Conservative commentator Kiersten Pels added, “Is this a political committee or a daycare? They still get *two full months* before they actually have to get out of bed.”

Even some Democrats had enough of the self-pity. Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) mocked their push for a “32-hour workweek.” “Why not a 0-hour workweek?” he asked sarcastically, noting how absurd these demands look to blue-collar Americans who work long hours without complaint.

The DNC wanted to showcase unity after getting pummeled by voters across the map. Instead, they revealed a party run by elites, staffed by activists, and paralyzed by a workforce that can’t handle a simple commute. Republicans couldn’t ask for a better illustration of who’s really out of touch with everyday Americans.
