Tech billionaire Elon Musk once again found himself at the center of political controversy over the weekend after revealing damning data on how millions of noncitizens have been issued Social Security numbers under President Joe Biden’s administration. Speaking at a get-out-the-vote rally in Wisconsin, Musk and his longtime colleague Antonio Gracias presented shocking numbers that raised serious questions about the integrity of the nation’s entitlement programs.

The event, held just days before a crucial state judicial election, drew national attention—not only for Musk’s exposé on the Social Security system but also for his bold financial support of grassroots efforts to challenge activist judges. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO made headlines by handing out two $1 million checks to Wisconsin voters who signed a petition calling for judicial accountability after the state’s Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge against the sweepstakes.

But the real bombshell came when Musk and Gracias unveiled a chart detailing the staggering number of Social Security numbers issued to noncitizens between FY 2021 and FY 2025. The graphic, titled “New Non-Citizen Social Security Numbers Issued,” revealed a sharp and steady increase under Biden, with a peak of over 2 million in FY 2024 alone.

Gracias, who has been investigating Social Security fraud, said he was stunned by what they uncovered.

“We started at the top of the system, mapping the whole structure to understand where fraud was occurring,” Gracias explained. “But this is what jumped out at us. When we saw these numbers, we were like, ‘What is this?’”

“This literally blew us away,” he added. “We went there to find fraud and we found this by accident.”

Musk echoed his sentiment, calling the findings “mind-blowing.”

The revelation comes amid Musk and DOGE’s ongoing probe into government waste and mismanagement, particularly within federal agencies like the Social Security Administration (SSA). Just last week, DOGE announced it had removed around 7 million Social Security accounts belonging to people listed as being over 120 years old—blatant proof of how broken and outdated the system has become.

Additionally, audits revealed that the SSA had 20 million deceased individuals still listed as “alive” in its database, a fact Musk highlighted at the Wisconsin rally.

Musk’s findings have fueled further concerns that Biden’s lax policies on immigration and government oversight are allowing widespread abuse of taxpayer-funded programs. This echoes former President Donald Trump’s strong stance against noncitizens exploiting public assistance. Shortly after taking office, Trump signed an executive order barring noncitizens from accessing public assistance programs, reinforcing that these services are intended solely for American citizens.

In line with Trump’s leadership, the Department of Housing and Urban Development recently partnered with the Department of Homeland Security to ensure noncitizens are no longer benefitting from public housing programs—another area rife with potential fraud.

As the 2024 election cycle heats up, Musk’s revelations are likely to become yet another headache for Biden’s already embattled administration. With the American people demanding accountability, the question remains: how many more scandals will it take before Washington finally cleans up its act?
