It’s terrible to acknowledge the truth that there are still so many children in foster care. Some of them do eventually find a home, but others do not. The unpleasant reality is that many of these kids are brothers and sisters who don’t want to be split up, but they have no choice if it occurs. They wish only that the family who adopted their brother or sister would adopt them as well.

This is precisely what this 9-year-old Oklahoma boy told the local KFOR-TV in a recent interview, following his brother’s adoption by a new family.

Jordan has been in foster care for six years, and he’s now nine. He took the opportunity to express his desire to be adopted after his brother was taken. Jordan noted how painful it is not have a family majority of his life, and that only children in the foster system would understand what he was talking about.

Jordan was interviewed with his brother a few years ago. They were both in separate foster homes at the time. It became impossible for them to see each other when his brother was adopted. When asked where he would go if given the opportunity to visit anyplace on Earth, Jordan replied, “To an adoption party for a home. I would just like to have a family to call mom and dad or just mom or just dad.

I don’t really care. The reason it’s important is because… so I could have some people to talk to anytime I need to. I hope one of y’all pick me. ”

Jordan has been living in a group home for some time, but he’s always wanted to be like other kids who have their own parents. When asked what his three most important desires were, Jordan replied, “To have a family, and family, family. Those are the only wishes I have.”

His interview went viral, and he was inundated with interviews. However, his actions would alter his life!

Many individuals were moved by his pleas, and they immediately came to his aid. Thousands of people phoned within just a few hours of the interview to inquire about adopting Jordan.

Finally, his supplication was answered…

Jordan wanted to be as close to his brother as possible, which is why he was placed in a foster home near his sibling. He is Jordan’s Permanency Planning Worker and informed me that the Oklahoma Department of Human Services desired that Jordan and his brother would live closer together.

Marlowe stated, “His brother’s adoptive family has been agreeable to that, and even if things go well, they said they would be willing to take them out on day passes so they could spend some good quality time together.” Marlowe also concurs that every kid who has gone through foster care has experienced a lot more compared to most youngsters.

That is why he remains confident that this time, Jordans will find a new home for good.

Because of his viral video, all he has to do now is examine the hundreds of adoption applications from people who stated their desire to have Jordan in their family.

Jordan has been through more in his life than most children endure in a lifetime. And like other kids who have grown up in the foster care system, he deserves to have a wonderful and caring family that would lavish him with affection and attention, which he has longed for all of his life.
