In yet another disgraceful display of left-wing disrespect, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) stooped to new lows during a House Judiciary Committee hearing, launching a bizarre and deeply personal attack on former First Lady Melania Trump. Rather than stick to the issue at hand — restoring fairness to America’s immigration system — Crockett used her platform to insult Melania’s character, her modeling career, and even her legal path to U.S. citizenship.
The radical Texas Democrat sneered at the former First Lady’s EB-1 visa, often called the “Einstein visa,” mocking Melania’s achievements and implying that she had somehow conned the immigration system. “Melania — a model, and when I say model, I’m not talking Tyra Banks or Naomi Campbell-level — applied for and was given an EB-1 visa,” Crockett jeered, dismissively.
Of course, what Crockett failed to mention is that Melania Trump had a successful international modeling career before arriving in the United States, with features in top fashion magazines and high-profile campaigns. Unlike some who exploit immigration loopholes or live in the country illegally, Melania came here *legally*, worked hard, and ultimately earned her citizenship in 2006.
But facts rarely matter when Democrats go into attack mode — especially when the target has the last name Trump.
Crockett, known more for her viral outbursts than legislative accomplishments, then rattled off a list of typical EB-1 qualifications — Nobel Prize winners, Pulitzer recipients, Olympic athletes — and smugly concluded, “Last time I checked, the First Lady had none of those accolades under her belt.”
What Crockett doesn’t seem to understand — or doesn’t care to — is that the EB-1 visa also covers individuals with “extraordinary ability” in the arts, including fashion and modeling. Melania’s impressive portfolio and international recognition made her fully eligible under the law. But to the radical left, legality and merit don’t matter. It’s all about scoring cheap political points.
Conservatives across the country swiftly condemned Crockett’s classless comments. “Jasmine Crockett is jealous,” one user posted on X. “She wouldn’t know elegance or achievement if it stared her in the face.” Another wrote, “Melania Trump speaks five languages, carries herself with dignity, and has done more to represent America with class than Crockett ever will.”
Many also pointed out the stunning hypocrisy — Democrats constantly cry “misogyny” when their own are criticized, but seem perfectly fine with launching sexist, mean-spirited attacks on conservative women.
Crockett’s unhinged rant is part of a broader pattern on the left — a deep hatred for anyone connected to Donald Trump, no matter how poised or accomplished they may be. It’s also a glaring example of why voters are turning away from the Democrat Party’s politics of bitterness and personal destruction.
Melania Trump didn’t need a Nobel Prize to earn respect — she did it through hard work, elegance, and grace. Something Jasmine Crockett could learn a thing or two about.
