President Donald Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress on March 4 was filled with powerful moments, but none rattled the left more than his takedown of Senator Elizabeth Warren. In a fiery exchange, Warren exposed herself as a supporter of endless war in Ukraine, and when Trump hit back with a well-timed joke, Democrats lost their minds—especially Rep. Jamie Raskin, who is now demanding Trump be censured.
During his speech, Trump focused on foreign policy, particularly his efforts to restore peace in the Middle East and bring an end to the bloody war in Ukraine. Unlike the Washington establishment, which profits from endless foreign conflicts, Trump made it clear that he prioritizes diplomacy over war.
“In the Middle East, we’re bringing back our hostages from Gaza,” Trump said. “In my first term, we achieved one of the most groundbreaking peace agreements in generations: the Abraham Accords. And now we’re going to build on that foundation to create a more peaceful and prosperous future for the entire region.”
Shifting to Ukraine, Trump addressed the senseless bloodshed and wasteful spending that has defined America’s involvement in the war. “I’m also working tirelessly to end the savage conflict in Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainians and Russians have been needlessly killed or wounded in this horrific and brutal conflict with no end in sight. The United States has sent hundreds of billions of dollars to support Ukraine’s defense with no security, with no anything.”
Then came the moment that exposed the left’s true colors. Trump turned to Congress and asked a simple question: “Do you want to keep it going for another five years?”
That’s when Elizabeth Warren shouted, “Yes!”—confirming that the radical left has no interest in peace. Without missing a beat, Trump fired back, “Yeah. Yeah, you would say—Pocahontas says, ‘Yes.’”
The chamber erupted, and Warren was left fuming.
The media meltdown was immediate, but the most unhinged response came from Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who appeared on MSNBC’s *Velshi* on March 9, raging that Trump should be censured for calling Warren “Pocahontas.”
“It’s a fair criticism,” Raskin whined, “but we did not have one single strategic plan going into Donald Trump’s address that night.” He then complained about the removal of radical Democrat Rep. Al Green, who had interrupted Trump’s speech by yelling and shaking his cane.
Of course, Raskin ignored the fact that Democrats repeatedly heckled President Trump during his first term, and he conveniently forgot that Nancy Pelosi once ripped up Trump’s State of the Union speech on live television. But now, suddenly, “decorum” matters to the left.
Raskin continued his tirade, falsely claiming that Trump “incited a violent insurrection” and insisting that calling Warren “Pocahontas” was a “racial and ethnic slur.” But in reality, Trump was simply reminding Americans that Warren lied about her Native American heritage for personal gain—a fact even *The Washington Post* has acknowledged.
While the media hyperventilates over Trump’s joke, Americans are focused on the bigger picture: the left’s obsession with war, their double standards, and their absolute fear of a president who refuses to play by their rules.
Elizabeth Warren just proved what conservatives have been saying all along—the radical left has no interest in peace, only in power. And with each meltdown, they show exactly why Trump remains the strongest leader in Washington.
