A man and his daughter were out enjoying lunch one day at a Panera Bread in Massachusetts.

The man told the waiters that his daughter was allergic to peanuts. He did not think that anything was wrong with his daughter’s lunch because she had grilled cheese.

However, the girl ended up getting extremely ill and had to go to the ER. Panera Bread had hired workers who did not speak or read English well. The girl noticed that something was wrong with the sandwich.

When she opened it, she noticed that peanut butter was on the sandwich. The girl vomited and went into anaphylactic shock and had to be airlifted to the hospital. The father was appalled when he saw peanut butter on the sandwich.

The man confronted the management. The manager stated that the person who made the sandwich could not read English. He thought that he should put extra peanut butter on the sandwich. The man is not satisfied with the manager’s response. He is not happy that the workers put people’s lives in danger.

The man is in the process of suing. He stated that the workers deliberately endangered the child’s life because they knew that she had a peanut allergy.
