According to popular belief, you would immediately sense when love has struck you. In most civilizations, a May-December romance or even same-sex marriage is now permitted. However, GSA, also known as Genetic Sexual Attraction, is still frowned upon by many people.
Children are not permitted to marry their parents or the other way around in any part of the world. Genital sexual attraction is a term from the 1980s for when re-connected biological family members experience strong romantic and/or sexual emotions after having been separated for an extended period of time.
According to studies, these unpleasant sentiments may occur. And in half of GSA cases, the person was reunited with a family member who was an adult at the time. A lady who met her son as an adult discovered GSA when she realized she had a problem. She gave up her baby son when he was only a few days old and didn’t see him for 26 years.
When she learned that he was in love with her, she was startled to discover that she had romantic and sexual feelings for him. Her son, on the other hand, did not return his mother’s strong romantic and sexual desire.
Researchers have discovered that a variety of reasons can cause GSA. Some people might want to recapture the emotional connection they missed out on as children. Others may be overwhelmed by comparisons and feelings of intimacy.
It’s possible that GSA might explain why there are first cousins who are attracted to each other in a romantic way like normal couples would. However, the majority of prohibited GSA relationships are between fathers and their daughters.
However, because few people report them, they are the least talked and researched of the GSA types.
In fact, a young woman from the Great Lakes region spoke with The Cut about her experience. this 18-year-old girl explained her deep and passionate sexual and romantic feelings for her biological father. She said she reconnected with him after 12 years of separation. Her mother has bipolar disorder, and as a result, she was raised by her grandparents since she was two years old.
Her father used to give her things when she was a kid. She would offer her with Barbies and other items that any little girl would enjoy. He went away for twelve years, however. When his daughter was 15, the father emailed the mother of the girls. Father and daughter communicated online and discovered that they shared similar interests in television. They both loved to draw as well as have similar passions in television.
She remarked that when she first reconnected with her father, “it was so weird and confusing.” She continued, “I was seeing my dad for the first time in forever, but it was also like, ‘He’s so good-looking!’ And then I was like, ‘What the hell are you thinking?’”
She stayed with him for five days. She understood that she was romantically and sexually attracted to him. She said, “We had strong feelings for each other. We discussed whether it was wrong, and then we kissed. And then we made out, and then we made love for the first time. That was when I lost my virginity.”
She also felt no awkwardness afterward. It seemed so normal to her. She is now looking forward to marrying her father and being in a relationship with him.
